Little range time this morning. Really enjoying this Baikal.

Went out to the range today to spend some time with a few other guns. Figured I’d throw my S&W model 38 air weight, and a few speed strips loaded with Fiocchi range dynamics FMJ’s. I usually always use LWC or SWC (loaded 2 for comparison). Never used their .38 special FMJ rounds before. To my surprise. 10 out of 10 that I brought would not seat all the way in the cylinder. Comparison with my normal LWC’s.

Yes. The cylinder/cylinder bores are completely clean. Wondering if they will load into my more modern 642-2.

Picked up this MP 210 for around the property. I really enjoy Soviet / European firearms, was looking for a more modern SXS with a vintage aesthetic… this one checks a lot of boxes.

Jokes aside, this has honestly been my EDC rotation for roughly the last year. Yes, I live my life based on nostalgia from when I was a kid.
