Did anyone else get the new MySkoda App update this morning? With the easy way to select 90 or a 100% on a charge?

Anyone recommend a good one?

All the ones on UK Amazon look and feel like they were made by the lowest bidder out of chicken wire and electrical tape.

I've had a DEG2 and its been operating in TB mode for the last few months.

My MiniPC with Oculink turned up yesterday and Im trying to get it working.

It only seems to work in Oculink mode with BOTH the TB5 cable and the Oculink cable connected to the MiniPC at the same time. I was under the impression that I only needed to connect the Oculink cable and theoretically I could use it as an eGPU for one machine whilst using it as a dock for another machine.

TL;DR - does you DEG2 work with just the Oculink cable connected and not the TB5 cable too?

I’m going to turn mine into an Echo Home style device with my media and photo collections on it.

I keep getting mails telling me to activate this.

Given I’m an AA member is there any point?

So, I’ve recently bought a Bosgame M4 8745hs Neo 32Gb because it was the best bang for buck on Amazon. I wanted it mostly for eGPU gaming, a little light weight AI inference, but also for a 24/7 media server.

I missed the fact that the fan whines something awful on this model and it’s louder than my eGPU that it’s currently sitting on the PSU for.

Quite like the power but it’s going to drive me mad for media server duties, as the rest of my desk is silent. Edit : It’s already in quiet mode.

Any thoughts either on replacement, mods or tucking it away?

Looking for a MinPC with oculink to pair with my deg2 eGPU and the Maco is coming up much cheaper than the Gem 12+ on Amazon. Is there any catch?

Most of my games aren’t CPU bound if it helps.
