What’s happening to this?

When I bought this little 2” sansevieria all it’s leaves were growing straight up and I thought it would continue to only grow straight up and spiky but now the new growth is growing out with split leaves, why? Will the whole plant eventually do this?

How do you get my goldfish plant to trail?

I started my goldfish plant from a cutting and this year when I gave her a grow light she exploded with growth so much that I’ve potted twice since may. I wanted her as a trailing plant and have her hanging but she is only growing like a bush. If I cut the top down low and double branches do you think the weight will help flatten the top so she grows down?

What is this growing on my Parlor Palm?

I noticed this where the lower leaves fall off, it almost looks like roots. Any idea? I’ve had this for 15 years and never seen this before

I need help with shape?

I don’t have much room for a big bushy tree, so i was attempting to grow it tall so I tied the branches together. I’ve had it tied together for two years but it still won’t stand up on its own. And now all the bottom leaves are smaller than the top so now it really top heavy. Can you braid the trunk of these? If I remove the bottom leaves will it still bend or do the trunks eventually get thicker and stronger? Any tips?

Hoya first timer, before and after!

6 1/2 months ago I came here looking for advice for my very first Hoya plant. I was recommended to get a “Rebecca”. In February I received a cutting. When I got Rebecca i put her in a self watering pot and 6 1/2 months later she’s grown so much and I have flowers already. I fell in love instantly and realized she needs a friend, so last week I got her a silver companion! I hope the silver one does as well as my Rebecca. Many thanks for all your help..
*now I totally understand the addiction and love for Hoyas*

What’s eating my coral bells?

I have 13 coral bells all of them have chewed holes and edges. I can’t find any pests by eye. It’s not snails, slugs or caterpillars. I’ve done research and it might be weevils since they only come out at night that’s why I haven’t seen any. Has anyone had any luck or experience dealing with them or should I just get rid of them all since they’ll just decline and die anyway?

Are my props too crowded?

I propped 8 of my snake plant’s leaves, when they were ready to be potted I planted 8 of them together in this 3.5 inch pot. They have had a serious growth spurt (I thought they were really slow growers). Will keeping them together damage or stunt their growth? If so how many plants should I pot in each pot of the same size? It’s not root bound and it takes about 5 days to dry out.

All new furry bunny feet!!

The feet finally grew outside the pot!! It’s been 4 years and they only ever got to the edges. I switched to a self watering pot in march (thanks to the Reddit plant community!) and look at her! Her the feet are growing fronds too (second pic). I’m finally getting the RFF I always wanted 👏🏻👏🏻

Why are my hearts so tiny and straggly?

I got my VSOH in march and has been doing great, the top is is full of pink plump hearts, but the vines are so crappy looking. I think it gets an even amount of light, and I wait till it’s completely dry to water. I use a VERY diluted liquid fertilizer with every watering and only bottom water till it’s wet at the surface. Should I water more often? Also, all the vines bloomed flowers about a month ago and I thought that was a good sign? Could the flowers be taking away energy from the vines and leaves? Should I take the flowers off?

Is this sun stress or burned leaves?

My Hoya Rebecca leaves have become red and veiny, I know if you give them intense light the leaves turn colors, but I’m having trouble telling the difference between sunburn and sun stressed. Are they both bad for the plant? I hate the word stressed! I got it as a cutting in October and the leaves were all green with some specks and now it looks like a completely different plant. I don’t want to kill her. Any advice would help me please 🙏

What can I do?! Please help me

The top cluster of new growth of leaves on my dragon tree somehow all got torn. I know the leaves are garbage but will my tree continue to grow tall? Or will it start to branch out? If it will continue to grow tall what will it look like? I circled where the damage is in the 3rd pic. I got her from my grandmother’s funeral 14 years ago and I don’t want to mess it up.

HOLY! only 3 months progress

I had this puny cutting for over a year and kept yellowing and dying. I was ready to toss it! Then I came here for advice and was told to try a self watering pot. That was 3 months ago. I started with a 3.5 inch pot and almost immediately had to upgrade to a 6, and just yesterday moved it to a 8.5!! The latest leaf is the size of my hand! Thank you so much for the advice 🙏🙏

Is this normal?

My var. Joseph’s Coat is turning hot pink and the little offsets feel soft and floppy. Its soil is gravely and dry so it’s not root rot and I have a pretty strong grow light on it. Is this normal, can’t find much online about this specific variety.
