Man these guys take a long time to paint vs plain old space marines! I realised I hadn't actually finished the base on 2 of them after I took the pics XD

Recommendations: 400pts off a 2,000pt army, what would you add?

So i've kinda built my list around models I like the style of, like the lore of, or that complement each other, but what should I add to finish off the 385pts I have left?

I'm pretty open to everything except for the Helbrute because I have a (unfounded) feeling that's gonna get upscaled, and the Forgebeast, because it looks too goofy.

My first 2 Legionnaires, much harder to paint than Space Marines. Not sure about the result

Hey all, I've just finished up my first two Legionnaires. these guys took a long time to get done, it's gonna be a while until I finish the other 8 that's for sure. How did these turn out? Any tips?

Patch 4.8 Docking Issue Workaround

If you have been having issues docking this patch I found a workaround that’s been working consistently for me.

Steps:

  1. Bring your ship toward the docking platform, but stay outside the impound/restricted area, do not pull up right by the docking collar.
  2. Lower landing gear
  3. Call ATC
  4. If the red text above the docking HUD says “Align with docking collar”, roughly align your ship with the docking collar around 15 meters away, it should auto-dock without pressing anything

If it doesn’t work the first time, Repeat steps 2 and 3. Your landing gear will raise automatically when calling ATC, so lower it again before retrying

This usually works within 2–3 attempts for me.

Painted my first Black Legion Mini, Master of Possession

After following the false emporer for years painting Imperial fists, I'm starting a Black Legion army. This was much harder to paint than I expected, a real learning curve!
