Looking for alternatives rivers/creeks. Preferably only 2 hours from Phoenix

Are there fish in the east verde river?

Last time I hiked the Verde river near Payson the word was brown and dead. The only life being millions of crayfish everywhere, but not a single fish. Just looking for alternatives to the salt river. I'd like to give those Bass a break from me.

After all these years of playing battle network I didn't know you could do this.

I was trying to clean my left trigger button when I noticed that megaman was shooting his megabuster from the Navi screen. Im at work so I can't test the other versions but I at least now know it's a thing in battle network 3.

Finally deleting hinge.

And no, it's not because of how shitty dating has been on there. No more free rewinds and you can only change your location for free every 30 days now????? Yeah okay, this app is slowly becoming tinder. Funny how 50 matches that went no where couldn't break me, but paying for features that used to be free is a deal breaker.

Why do people bother with dating apps if they don't want to date?

After countless matches that have went absolutely no where, I've started to wonder why women even bother using the app. For reference I'm a man and I have gotten alot of matches with women over my time of using the app. Yet 99% of women will just stop responding and won't unmatch me. Like what's the point of saving up all those matches if you don't intend to speak to any of them. Do people really feel that much validation from hoarding dead conversations? Either way I think women have so many options on dating apps that they just don't take it seriously or are truly looking for that 1% man in there. It's definitely more nuanced than that but that's still my general line of thinking.

Also it's funny how now women have begun to like me first and still won't have a conversation with me? Like how you gonna send me the first like and not respond?

Matches don't mean anything. Part 2

Another batch of matches that aren't going anywhere. I have come to the conclusion that people just don't want to date people that they meet online. I once saw a post where someone mentioned that dating someone you meet in person's a lot different because there's always that chance of running into them again. So you get that feeling like hey, you could see this person again versus online, whereas a chance you'll never see that person in your life.

I didnt't cover my messages this time so y'all could properly judge me 😂

Anyone else getting a single message and then nothing.

My last bunch of matches have been women messaging me for two sentences and then nothing. Like of course we all get busy but after a week or two and still no reply. And I don't understand why people don't unmatch either. Do people like to collect matches to make themselves feel better? Either way it's not that serious but a little frustrating.

Dating

Where do y'all go to find other people who are vegetarian at? Every person I've ever been with has eaten meat so it's always been on me to find a restaurant that we can both enjoy. How do I find women who are also vegetarian. I feel like it'd be easier to date someone who is of a similar diet to me, I always feel awkward on dating apps, especially when they mention loving sushi or steak houses.

Edit For those of you dating meat eaters I do not want your input. Every person I've dated in the past has been a meat eater. I am SPECIFICALLY asking for advice meeting fellow vegetarians.

Do women like to go fishing?

After struggling with dating for a while now I've come to the conclusion that the only sure way to meet women is to go dancing, join a running club, or play pickleball. All things I know for a fact I would hate doing. What makes me happy? Fishing, astrophotography, reading (non fiction) and camping. Not hobbies that attract or give you a way to meet women. So I'm left with a choice, be happy doing what I love, or sacrifice my comfortability so I can potentially meet a problem. And I know people say you shouldn't do these things just for the sake of finding dates, but if I was in a relationship I would never in my life time try dancing, running, or pickle ball. Every woman I've met post my ex has been from random luck/circumstance and dating apps (Dating apps get you dates but usually with barely interested people imo).

So I guess my real question is how do you meet women when you live a solitary life with solitary hobbies? I'm happy with who I am and what I got going on but it feels like I have to change alot in order to find someone.

What's the point of staying matched if you don't want to talk anymore?

Had a date last week that went ok. No sparks or anything crazy. We said our goodbyes and I told her I had a nice time. 3 days later still no response. I can understand not wanting to pursue anything anymore, but zero response and still hasn't unmatched me? Like what's even the point. I guess I'm more annoyed cause she was really cool and I would've liked to have still been friends at least. Can anybody else relate?

I just moved here and I'm an avid fly fisherman. I fished the salt river near Phon D Sutton. I saw some babies and a dead fish so that means there life in there. Just wondering if there's better places. I also prefer very little to no foot traffic if possible. Now really a people person.

▲ 15 r/lonely

I tried to get into my hobbies, I tried getting back into school, I tried getting in shape, I tried moving, and I tried to improve my mental health. All these things made me happier in life yet the one thing that has always bothered me the most is that I'm still just lonely loser. Nothing will ever change that. Why is it that I can do or have anything I put my mind to except someone reliable in my life. All that stupid generic advice about "working on yourself" "get more into your hobbies" "join a club" is all bs. It's so easy to just say do this and it works, well it doesn't always work. And we're not all made of money and have infinite social batteries. Why is it so hard for us and so easy for others. I'm so sick of being alone.
