Im looking to buy a Honda Fit/Jazz in Canada… And there all rusted. I’m ok with rust on panels I can swap like hood, doors… but I’m trying to find the cleanest and okiest rear quarters since I can’t replace them without cutting and welding. Can you guys say if this is deep rust or surface that I can remove and rework ?

So I’ve got a Motobecane N40 (AV7) and a Puch Maxi (E50). Love them, but I kinda want to do something stupid… add a 12V electric starter. Not because they need it, just because it’d be cool.

Thinking of welding a bracket under the exhaust manifold, in that dead space in front of the engine. Size wouldn’t stick out wider than the engine itself.

Main questions:

1. Has anyone actually done this on either engine?
2. What starter would work? Car starter for the torque? Or a small moped/scooter one like off a BWS?
3. Is there a starter that can stay engaged (externally) without dying? Or one that disengages internally so the outer part still spins freely while hooked to the magneto?

I’d run a tiny AGM battery recharged by the aftermarket 12V magneto.

This is purely for the fun of it. Just wanna know if it’s doable and what parts to hunt for.

Alright so I got a Puch Maxi and I wanna build something absolutely stupid. Not like "nice around town" stupid, like full race mode, sketchy as hell, top speed or die trying.

I don't even know if I should call it a race build or racing build or whatever. You know what I mean though, the fastest one possible. Budget isn't really a thing for this. I just wanna know what's the absolute max you can squeeze out of one of these things before physics says no.

What kit? What pipe? Carb, crank, ignition, clutch, gearing, all of it. I don't care if it needs race gas or if I gotta add water cooling or weld the frame. Just tell me what the actual insane people run.

Also if you've personally gone terrifyingly fast on a Maxi, please tell me how fast and what broke first lol.

If so, wich one I get? The 50cc or 70cc one? Actually I’m running full stock av7 but I will probably upgrade to 70cc. Can I adapt a Yasuni muffler of Yamaha BWS ? Performance wise is ok good/ok?

Hi, I’m Jetta TDI 2013 has a lot of hesitation when I accelerate and once I’m in highway around 60mph 100kmh it want to stop, feels like exhaust is clogged, the heating coil light flashes on dashboard and whole engine shakes when I accelerate (limp mode?), when I turn it off and on I goest back to hesitation mode but I can go till 60mph again… got some codes but p2015 and p2008 are here. Don’t know if dpf failure… do I go downpipe and tune? This is my first TDI
