Trying to get a security code and they're making me answer questions about people I don't know?

It's already weird I have to talk to customer service to do this, but then they started asking about my driver's license number, which I never gave them, so that was weird at first. Then they asked which state someone I don't know owns property in. It's someone with the last name pronounced the same as me, but spelled differently. I got the question wrong then they asked if I wanted to do the balance transfer over the phone, which after that phone call, felt sketchy as fuck. What is going on with Citi?

40v 2ah in the expand it string trimmer?

I'm new to home ownership and slowly acquiring the tools I need, but I have questions. I have the 40v string trimmer on the way, and today Home Depot has a daily deal on a 18 and 40v 2ah battery set. I know those are the lower end of batteries, so is it even worth picking up? I don't want to spend $80 for 5 minutes of run time.

Should I just get a new credit card and do a balance transfer while I'm 11k in debt with a 26.99% interest rate?

So I'm dumb, for starters. Bought a new house this year and got stupid with my credit card to get furniture because I wasn't worried about my credit anymore, but now I'm at 11k in debt with a 26.99% rate. I have unlimited overtime availability at work and my household brings in about 6k a month after taxes if I don't pick up any shifts. I used a Wells Fargo 1% cash back card right now but I see I could get another card with a 0% APR for balance transfers for 21 months. Should I just go ahead and do that? I'm still not really worried about my credit score, I'd rather just pay this card off and not have to think about it anymore.

I've also heard about credit churning as pretty much free money, would that be worth it or just more headache than it's worth?

Edit: Balance transfers is a 5% fee as well.

Dryer smells like burning, diagnose and fix?

So I think too many soaking wet towels in the dryer at once and my fiancee told me she thinks she saw the glow of fire down in the back of the dryer when she popped the top off to check. I don't know, I didn't see it but I do smell the burning. I've opened the front and top and don't see any indications of burning and the lint screen and exhaust are totally clear. Someone else mentioned maybe the belt was rubbing on the pulley because of all the weight and that could cause the smell, but I'm wondering what else I need to check just to be safe.

Dryer made rattling noise and now smells like burning?

So my fiance woke me up last night because she thinks the dryer caught on fire. I went to check it out today and found she put a huge fucking load of soaking wet towels in it, like 50+ pounds of clothing, and think this is probably what started the problem. Lint screen and vents are completely clear, and since unloading it, it doesn't make the rattling noise anymore. Is this DIYable or do I need to just get a repair guy out here? She thinks the inside vent thing in the drum is looking more burnt, but I'm not positive that's new. I see front load dryers are pretty simple, I'm just not sure about diagnosing the problem.

What the shit did this to my tire

Got off late from a 12 hour shift that involved being stuck in a box with 3 screaming toddlers and found my tire pressure low and saw this. Tire is only a year old, and I don't remember running anything over or hitting curbs. I know it's toast, but is there any way to avoid having to pay full price for a new tire? I bought through Discount Tire and kind of want to play in traffic at the idea of having to drop $500+ on another set of 2 replacement tires a year later.
