Amd Experience

I know this isn’t the usual Tips and info post but I just have to know about everyone else’s experiences if I’m doing something right or are people just tweaking the Fluff out there cards?

Specs
Ryzen 7 7800x3D
Klevv Cras V 32gb
MSI MAG A850GL
Xfx Mercury Oc Rx Radeon 9070xt
Windows 11 Home

I remember when I was building the pc (FIRST TIME BUILDER) I kept getting Reddit thread notifications about driver time outs and black screens and crashing bugs glitches EVERYTHING. And I keep hearing this thing people say “it’s the amd experience”

Now I had a gaming laptop back in 2020 it was a intel
8700H (I think) something like that and a GTX 1060(6gb)
So I won’t say I’m seasoned in Nvidia and Amd experiences I’ve experienced Nvidia card which it had its moments too with drivers but mostly was overall a good fluffing experience while it lasted ofc and this now would be my first FULL AMD PC.

I’ll be frank sometimes I do watch over it I’m a bit sensitive to see if it has issues I have tweaked a few setting on my cpu in bios and I have a OC on my GPU that I did from the adrenaline software itself. I have experienced two driver time outs in the two weeks I have been using the GPU. And ALL OF IT WAS IN FORTNITE. It seemed to happen every time I run Msi afterburner for stats and discord (what I thought at first). I checked the adrenaline app I had a chipset driver to update I DID IT and after that I did everything as normal no crashes after that😂 Now I run everything high whoever said no ray tracing for AMD boi I have that shit in high presets with Frame Gen on quality getting over 70fps in cyberpunk ultra preset while streaming.

Now maybe I missed out something but I’ve tested maybe around 15 games so far and I haven’t had any issues with my card my games are so so smooth compared to my old laptop this thing is night and day and I’m using a OLED MONITOR like I saw someone say something about Amd and oleds I have the latest version I think it’s 26.7.1? I’ll have to check but yeah no issues from me at all so what’s wrong with other people cards?

CPU Temperatures

I recently built my computer First Time Builder besides the specs I have a Ryzen 7 7800x3D CPU cooling it I have a Arctic Liquid Freezer III ARGB Pro 360mm, I replaced the Stock Fans With Asiahorse Dawn Pro 120mm fans. The computer of course booted and everything and for full disclosure

  1. I did take the peal off the AIO pump
  2. Yes I made sure brackets are mounted properly
  3. No I haven’t experienced any shut downs or official overheating
  4. This post is for my own knowledge and to gain insight into the chips from more experienced people
  5. Radiator is set as exhaust at the top.
  6. Yes Thermal paste was good it’s the MX-7 not too much not too little
  7. Yes the pump is working

Background Information:
• When I first booted in bios the temperature was idling around 53-60 Degrees C I live in a tropical climate but around this time it was around 29-30 degrees C
• I loaded into windows and the idle was jumping around 53, 58, 61 Degrees C sometimes 65 and it was concerning to me cause I was only using like 8-20% utilization.
• I asked around and changed the all in one cable because I read that the issue might be my pump not running so I did and after I did I started hitting 48 Degrees C temperature in idle sometimes I still hit the 53, 55, 58 but not while I’m not doing NOTHING bios temperature was still 55-58 Degrees C
• This time I actually decided to do a stress test with OCC and yes I do have things like expo not sure it matters but I PBO on as well and in the adrenaline software my CPU is set as Overclocked which I thought the 7800x3D was locked so I’m assuming that it’s not doing anything.
• When I did the stress test on the CPU after the fixes (no more all in one cable) (I used the three way split cable “VRM, PUMP, FAN) (I think those were the names) I used Pump and Vrm but left the fans off since they’re not stock.
**Doing the stress test my max temperature after an hour was 81 Degrees C
Ambient 30-31 Degrees
The average temperature was 75-76 but the max clock was 4.918GHZ BUT THAT I believe was like for like a brief 10 seconds and the average was 4.7GHZ**
• I thought 1080p gaming would really test the 3D V Cache so I did DBD at 1080p gaming I haven’t gotten my monitor yet so I did it on a tv with 60HZ so I don’t know if it was a fair test but it was pulling 42-44Watts clocked at 58 degrees C NEVER passed 60 Degrees C which I was happy for.

Question:

  1. I KNOW everything isn’t too high but is this normal for my CPU? I feel like idling in the 50’s is a bit high I can admit I never actually checked what my rpm on my fans are but they are always running high based off what I hear not too loud but audible in my room if I don’t have my fan on😂 not that I’m complaining but just for the sake of details.
Are these Temperatures at idle normal?

2. When I started gaming in DBD I had a constant 5.050GHZ how comes in the stress test I didn’t hit that? 5.050GHZ AT 58 Degrees C

3. Besides all that overall is my CPU under any throttle I haven’t received any stutters or inconsistencies during normal use or gaming performance I can do more in depth when I get my monitor next week but this is my finding so far.

4. Thank you for your time comments for anymore information

First Time Builder Please Be Nice🥹

So I built my own pc and I was helping my friend build hers she has a
7700x Tray
Gigbyte B850 WiFi elite white
9060xt 16gb
Lian Li Ga li Hydroshift Li LcD-C 360mm
Team Group Memory DDR5 32GB Cl 30
And we haven’t connected the case fans as yet but we installed the AIO, CPU, NVME, All the power pins one 8pin connector in the top right and the 24 pin in the motherboard. We double checked the ram slots and we are currently getting a solid red dram light for the past 4-6 minutes is there something wrong? If you need more info tell me in comments please

Overheating

I have a issue guys first time builder and honestly I’m so confused I have connnected all my cables in my pc and stuff as far as I see all the rgb is on and everything I have a ARCTIC LIQUID FREEZER III ARGB 360 and I changed the fans (stock fans for Asiahorse Dawn pro) I just booted the pc and stuff I connect my pump head with the AIO (all in one) cable but for some reason in CPU_Fan1 it says N/A and I believe the pump isn’t cycling because my ideal in windows is almost 70 at times that what did I do wrong
I’m available for call I just need help

Update :
I used the other cable with the fan, Vrm, Pump cable I plugged the PUMP cable in the CPU_Fan1 area as instructed my search engine trouble shooting and I saw where the CPU_FAN1 Appeared in bios with a rpm speed and nothing changed can someone just help point me in the right direction

Someone told me to put the PUMP header in the Pump system part in the motherboard beside the CPU_FAN1 and all that did was bring back the error

CPU: 7800x3D
Motherboard: MSI TOMOHAWK x870 WIFI

Am I Done here?

For context just read this post
https://www.reddit.com/r/Aliexpress/s/g5OCIUecpE
So I got shipment updates literally a day after this post and the courier that the seller used had handed over the package to an American Courier. Now I’ve never heard of “UniUni” before but I’ve never ever seen so many bad reviews on one thing yet.
All I’ve seen is poor reviews I texted the seller because I had no idea that this was what they did and told them my concerns and he just said that they use it had no control over it but it works am I cooked?

Is this Normal?

For context this is my first time using and I ordered a CPU (I know what some people might say) I did my research I believe it had over 1k+ sold and a review of 4.9 stars. But my issue is less the seller I feel like it’s the company I barely receive any updates from YFH and I know some people might think I’m being inpatient but I’m just concerned cause I ordered on the 4th and basically this was my updates also it says the same on 17track.net or whatever the site is I checked that too. Is this like a normal thing? It’s going to the US
