Husq 410iq - 3 blades vs. 5 blades? Is it worth the $80?

Are 5 cutting blades REALLY meaningfully better than 3 blades?

I have a small Zoysia lawn and just like having everything working as well as it can be. I see a dealer pushing their 5-blade solution and watched the video explaining how many more times the blades cut the blade of grass and so it's that much better yada yada yada.

Putting all the "fuzzy math" aside, is it worth the $80 upgrade? My stock 3 blades seem to be doing just fine, but maybe I'm missing something! 😁. If it was $50 or even $60 I would just jump on it with no question "just because" but $80 makes me actually think about it.

That said, I got the 410iq for free a couple months ago, something I could NEVER rationalize buying but thanks to Amazon Vine I am way ahead of the $$$ game, but I want to pretend I paid for it.

Slowest Searwood in the World

Doing 3-2-1 ribs set at 235F, now; after 5:45 they are barely at 140 degrees measured with my Thermapen One. Done ribs the "other way" also and they also were slow. Yes, I cleaned the probe in the back of the pit. Outside temp is 95F. I kicked it up to 250 to try and finish under 7 hours.

SO I unboxed my new RFX gateway kit and ambient internal probe sitting right in front of the Weber probe is showing 214-218 while set at 250. The display on the grill shows 250. What is going on!

Is this a common issue?

Asus "AI MESH" confusion 2 x ET12's e-net backhaul

I have two Asus ET12 routers in AI MESH mode connected by ethernet backhaul. The "primary" one is in the back of the house in my office and the 2nd one is ~60 feet away in the FRONT of the house in the garage.

Why do "fixed position" devices like security cams or garage door openers, irrigation timer (and others) within 2 to 10 feet from the "2nd one" often connect to the primary one instead which is 60+ feet away? Same happens in reverse as well.

Yes, I do try to force bind them to connect to the closer one but always get the "poor signal" message when doing so. The 2 routers are identical models so that shouldn't be an issue.

Even stranger, my laptop (used as desktop) in my office always connects to the one furthest away in the garage rather than the one literally 2 feet away from the office router.

An embarrassed 79-year-old total novice needs help with a cut in a project.

I have a 3" x 3" x 24"(actual size) piece of hardwood that I need to cut one end to a 4 degree angle. My 7" miter saw obviously will not fully cut through it. I've been flipping and flopping the piece of wood every which way to try to "finish" the rest of the cut but have totally confused myself on how to do this and ruined one of the 4 pieces of wood. I have yet to make the cut properly. I have so thoroughly confused myself on making the 2nd cut that I've so far taken 3" off the length. Everything I read says to "flip" it. But since it's square not sure what direction to do that.

I set the saw to 4 degrees and the first cut is fine. What do I do with this piece to finish the cut? Was tempted to just buy an 8" blade for this one cut but I assume from reading that won't fit (or will it?).

There are 2 possible ways to get the 4 degrees. One is turn the miter head and the other to adjust the slider arm.

I am making a doghouse for a friend which is my first wood project since highschool woodshop back in the 60's. My biggest mistake was not getting a larger saw.

Any way to stop the annoying LG popups?

Every time I turn on the TV these days I get these annoying LG notifications to update this or that app or loads of other stuff (I do not use their apps). I don't mind the "software updated" message but the others are so annoying. There used to be a "switch" to turn it off in the settings, but I went through every option and can't find anything. Seems they removed it in the previous few updates. I think it's a G3 or G4. Not near it now but it shouldn't matter.

I wonder if this "about you" section on Amazon HELPS to determine what you are offerred.

VERY detailed listing of things Amazon "knows" about you and MANY have come from reviews and possibly online info. Found this on the web version under ACCOUNT. You can edit, add and remove the data. There is some stuff listed there that surprised me that they "know" and some totally off. I was just looking to change my "reviewer name" and just clicked on this. There were literally many dozens of things they "know" under various categories.

The 1/2" male barb on a"1/2" swing pipe adapter" is way too small for the 1/2" poly tubing I am using. Yes, I know this application isn't "normal". 😃 Is there any way to make this connection? The 1/2" poly tubing is already there but I want to cut in the "1/2 barb" swing pipe tee adapter.

Can't seem to find an adapter that will let the 1/2" swing pipe tee fit into the 1/2" poly. Been looking all over Google but I probably do not know what to look for. I highly doubt a hose clamp will work. Any idea on how to kludge this connection?

Not a big seller, probably only 1500 items in the last 28 years mostly all personal stuff but anyway:

Sold a DJI Drone controller I had for about 3 months and had only 2hrs flying time on it. It was in flawless condition which photos show. Guy received it 4+ weeks ago (per UPS) at around 3PM. At 3:30PM (about 30 minutes after he got it) I get an eBay email saying the buyer wants to return it because it is allegedly defective, so of course (as I have no choice) I accepted the return and sent a label. He waited until the final "send it back day" (about 3 weeks) to return it. I fully understand the fact my ads say "no returns," and that is meaningless.

The package arrived yesterday (CA to FL) and it's not "my" controller. This one is obviously scratched up and nonfunctional, as he said in the return request. It's obvious the game he played, and I really have no way to prove it wasn't what I sent. Sadly I didn't record the serial number, not that it would have mattered if I had because that could easily be faked.

Due to me not being a "top rated" seller, I don't really have any options that I can see, as eBay put my account $278 negative (but I was paid for the item the day after it was delivered).

Do I have any options with eBay other than to take the loss? I have to send the refund by tonight, so I assume once I do that, I'm done.
