EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 12gb blinking out on HDMI connected to a TV. Need help.

Hey all, so recently I wanted to hook my PC up to my Sony X90L TV to play some games on it. I have the proper HDMI 2.1 cable, and have tried plugging it into a HDMI 2.1 rated splitter, and even directly into the TV with the same results.

Every 30 to 45 seconds, the screen will just blink out as if I unplugged it, then back in again. It's driving me nuts because I seriously can't figure out what is wrong here.

I used to use the HDMI port on my GPU to go to my secondary monitor that is sub 1080p, and it never blinked out like this, so I know the port is fine.

I've tried multiple cables, all my drivers are up to date, I disabled CEC on the TV, I went into the Nvidia control panel and changed the "content type reported to the display" from "automatic" to "gaming", and nothing has made a difference. It still blinks out.

I'm at a total loss here after digging through google searches trying to troubleshoot this, so I figured I would ask here to see if anyone has any insight/solutions to this.

My PC specs are as follows.

  • MSI MPG Z690 EDGE Wifi DDR4 Motherboard
  • Intel Core i7-12700K CPU
  • Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3600mhz 32gb Ram
  • EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 12gb GPU.
  • Corsair RM850x PSU
  • Windows 11, with all current updates.

Any help here is greatly appreciated!

I think I just drank bad iced tea.

Hey all, so I just opened a can of Arizona blueberry white tea to drink, and when I opened the can, it hissed quite a bit, almost like a carbonated drink, however this is not carbonated.

I have drank other cans of this exact tea, and from the same batch, they hissed too, so I didn't think much of it.

I poured some into a cup, and it looked slightly darker than usual, but again, I didn't think too much about it.

I then proceeded to drink 2 large mouthfuls of this tea, then set it down, and went to grab something else.

About 5 minutes later when I came back, I noticed these gelatinous strands of something suspended in the tea. They kind of look like jellyfish.

This was not present in any of the other cans I drank so far, so clearly something happened to this can here.

Normally I wouldn't worry if I drank a little sip or something, but I drank probably half a cup worth of this tea in 2 sips because I was really thirsty.

What do you guys think the chances are I'll get sick from this?

Horrible acid reflux today, and it's not going away. Any tips?

Hey all, so yesterday I woke up feeling hungry, and wanted something sweet for breakfast, so I just ate some pieces of this Pepperidge Farms cinnamon raisin bread I usually always keep around.

I will admit, I ate quite a bit of it, like 4 or 5 slices, but the slices are pretty small.

Shortly after eating that, I went to lay down, and had really bad acid. So much so that it was coming up the back of my throat, and making me choke.

Once I woke up from my nap, I actually felt okay for the rest of yesterday, ate dinner, everything was fine. Until I laid down again at night to go to sleep.

I instantly felt sick to my stomach, everything was burning, and acid started coming up again.

I did fall asleep from 10:30pm, to 2am, and when I woke up, I felt okay again.

I couldn't sleep after that and was up until like 11am, but when I laid down to sleep, the acid came back once again, and this time it was even worse.

I fell asleep and woke up at 2pm, and since I got up, my stomach has been aching, my chest burns like hell, and even my back aches from this. Also every time I burp, something is coming up.

I've been taking Tums, but nothing seems like it's touching it.

I don't really know what to do here. I already ate a bunch of crackers last night to try and stop this, but it didn't work.

I feel hungry now, but the acid is so bad right now, I also feel sick to my stomach, so I'll try to eat later.

I'm getting worried this is going to get worse and I'll be sick or something later.

Does anyone here have any acid reducing tips?

Felt sick to my stomach all day, ate dinner, and feel much worse. Trying not to panic.

Hey all, not censoring words, so TW.

So I woke up today feeling pretty crummy. My stomach felt like it was full of something it doesn't like, and I've just felt gross all day.

This was happening the day before too, so I've tried to not let it bother me too much.

However, I made myself dinner despite not feeling well, ate it, and as I was eating, each bite felt like it was about to come back up, and just hit my stomach wrong.

I kept eating though, trying to tell myself to just power through it because I need to eat, but I feel awful right now.

I just had to use the bathroom, and it was normal, but I feel really queasy.

I feel like my stomach is doing backflips, and like everything I ate might come back up.

I'm starting to have the feeling of trapped gas where I can't burp coming on, and that makes me want to gag.

I'm hoping it's just gas, and nothing else. I did drink a drink that's more acidic than I'm used to yesterday as well.

I'm worried I caught something yesterday though. I was doing power washing around my yard, and got so much nasty stuff blown in my face, and mouth. Algee, dirt, and some kind of red bacteria that was growing on our pool ladder.

I'm worried maybe that made me sick or something.

I really am trying not to panic, but I haven't felt my body reject food that strongly like it did tonight in a long time.

What do you guys think?

Hey all, not censoring words here, so TW.

After a week of feeling sick because of IBS or something, yesterday and today I finally ate full meals.

Tonight I had a hamburger and french fries.

Shortly after eating, my stomach didn't feel too well, but it didn't last night either and I wound up being fine. Sadly that's not the case tonight.

About 30 minutes ago, out of nowhere, I had a hot flash, my back started to hurt, my stomach started to ache, and and begun to feel hard to breathe.

I tried to remain calm, but the feelings all just kept getting more intense. I then had to go to the bathroom, and it was normal when I went, but then shortly after that, I felt sick to my stomach, like I had to burp but couldn't.

I took a Gas-X, and tried slowly sipping water, but one sip I took made me feel extremely nauseous, and then the panic attack hit.

I caved and took a Zofran because honestly I don't have the energy tonight to deal with this, even though I know it's going to constipate me something awful for the rest of the week.

As I sit here, my back still hurts, it's hard to breathe, and I keep getting these waves of nausea hitting my stomach that's making me panic.

I have been under an extreme amount of stress this week. In fact, this afternoon I felt like I was going to have a panic attack, but slept it off.

I know it's probably not the case, but I'm worried about a stomach virus with how I've felt all week. Dizzy, nauseous, stomach cramps, diarrhea all day Monday and Tuesday, headache, all that stuff.

I know what I ate probably wasn't the easiest thing on my stomach, even if it was plain, it's still a burger and fries. So now I'm worried maybe something was wrong with the food.

I'm just exhausted physically and mentally tonight. This week has been so hard, I just don't want to deal with this right now.

What do you guys think?

Hey all, I don't know if this is really the place to ask this, but has anyone here filed a restraining order from someone while being home with agoraphobia?

My awful grandmother keeps verbally harassing me. Today she called me and threatened me over politics. This has been going on for years now, and I'm absolutely sick of it, and can't figure out any other way to keep her away from me.

I was looking up the proceedings for this here in Pennsylvania, but it mentions going to court to present your case, and obviously I can't do that right now.

Again, I don't know if this is the right place to ask for this, so apologies in advance, but I could use some advice if anyone here has any.

Hey all, not censoring anything, so TW.

So I made a post on Saturday because I couldn't burp and felt nauseous. That passed after about 2 hours, but then later that night I had a doubled over IBS attack with some diarrhea after eating some bread.

Yesterday, Sunday, I still didn't feel good from the night before. I felt like my IBS attack was going to start back up if I ate anything, but I did plan on eating.

However, my mom came home, and got into a huge argument with me, that stressed me out more than words could express. It got really ugly.

So as a result of this stress, I didn't eat anything at all yesterday, not even the usual snacks I try to eat when I don't eat full meals.

So at this point, it's been a few days of running on mostly nothing.

Well last night around midnight, I started feeling really gassy, but figured it was just hunger and stress. It was really hard to get to sleep because I didn't feel right.

I finally fell asleep around 5am, and woke up at 10:30am feeling so sick.

I shot awake to my heart pounding out of my chest, dizzy, nauseous, and my back killing me.

I knew I was starving, and that was probably why I felt so sick, so I dashed to my snack bin and grabbed some candy simply to get some sugar quickly into my system.

I felt horrible eating these, like I wanted to heave them back up, but I kept eating.

Once the dizziness subsided, now my spit was super thick, and my stomach felt awful. I felt gassy, like I was going to have an IBS attack again, and throw up.

Well about 20 minutes go by, and I'm not going to lie, I pooped my pants...

I then run to the bathroom and proceed to have explosive diarrhea.

As I sit here now, I feel round 2 hitting me, my heart is still pounding out of my chest, my stomach hurts, and I feel sick.

I was out in the car yesterday, so I'm worried I was exposed to something, and I'm worried this is a stomach virus.

Hey all, so I'm in a really bad spot right now.

It's been 2 and a half years of being stuck in the house, unable to go anywhere, fighting off panic every single day.

On top of that, my emetophobia has gotten really bad because my IBS has been horrible lately, and I feel sick all the time.

Because I feel sick all the time, I can't eat properly, I can't sleep properly, I'm always in some kind of really bad pain, and all of this makes the panic worse.

Well to top it all off, my parents came home from their fun day out at my favorite place in the world, that I haven't been to in almost 3 years, only for my mom to come home and scream at me for asking her a question earlier in the day.

So now I get to look forward to tip toeing around her for the next week, because once she wants to fight, there's no stopping it until she's satisfied with the "win"...

I tried leaving during the argument, made it a block up the street, and almost started heaving from the panic.

I can't run. I can't do anything anymore without being punished it feels.

Every time I eat, I feel nauseous, and in pain. Every time I try to sleep, I wake up in a sweating panic. Every time I try to talk to anyone about anything, I'm afraid it'll result in a fight.

I feel like there's no where for me to go, and no way forward out of this mess I'm in.

I just don't understand why this is happening. Why it's been going on for so long, and now is seemingly getting worse.

I'm seeing a psychiatrist but so far everything we've tried simply doesn't work, or makes me worse.

My body is so intolerant to any kind of medication, I can't even take a tylenol without it making me sick. So whatever she's prescribed me to help with this, has so far only made things worse.

I was in therapy to talk to someone as well, but they just told me to "get over it" and didn't want to help me anymore.

I can't take it anymore.

Hey all, not censoring words in this post, so trigger warning going forward.

I'm having a really bad day here. I woke up in a panic feeling like I was going to throw up earlier this afternoon, but tried brushing it off as just hunger.

I haven't been eating well again this week because every time I eat a meal, it's been hitting my stomach wrong, and making me feel like I'm going to puke all week.

Shortly after I got up, I ate some goldfish crackers, which I ate a bunch of the night before, and shortly after eating them today, they also hit my stomach wrong.

After that, I felt like I really needed to burp, but couldn't because I would puke. I figured this was my histamine intolerance, but it felt different today. There's usually other symptoms that accompany that, but weren't there today. I was just really bloated, and kind of nauseous from not being able to burp.

I then begun to panic, and had to keep going to the bathroom, which caused stomach cramps. This went on for about 2 hours then finally calmed down.

I laid down for a bit, then got up and ate 1 slice of bread.

About 10 minutes later, I felt sick to my stomach again, and started having an IBS attack with diarrhea.

Idk what is going on with me this week. This whole feeling like I'm going to vomit after I eat thing has been so intense, and now I'm dealing with all this other stuff tonight.

I also feel achy, cold, and just utterly exhausted today, like I'm coming down with a cold or something.

I'm hoping it's the weather, because yesterday it was 82f, and today it was 50f and raining. It's been like this all week.

I still haven't left the house, but I did have some nasty water splash in my face the other day. So I'm worried about getting sick from that.

What do you guys think?
