I can only do one and would love feedback on, which would be better? Not much of a drinker and I love trying new and delicious foods. 😋 I went to the Food and Wine Fest at Disney, California Adventure and that was fun, but the lines and the crowds were a Lot in that heat to access the prepaid tasting menu option — prefer not a ton of crowds (will be using DAS & a scooter since I hear that Epcot is a much bigger park) so if there’s a better day or time to go, that would be really helpful.

This is for the week of November 15 (Food & Wine) or the week of November 29 (Holidays Fest).

Why is Tabitha not >!on shrooms!<?

Can someone explain to me why for the love of getting out did >!Tabitha not immediately take shrooms once Jade had his epiphany of a restored memory!< (?!).

Recently completed a loan mod - abt a month prior, got a notice saying escrow shortage was over $1K, scrambled to pay that last month. Loan mod is now finalized, but it’s saying escrow shortage is now $3K+ (!?!). Getting nothing but endless runaround from the mortgage co with no real explanation of exactly how it was fully paid yet still has massive shortage.

New loan mod payment is already going up next month to cover the shortage across 12 months - is this normal? a scam?

Bigger question - living in a very expensive city where increases are more challenging to cover than in most places, does it make sense to pay the shortage up front bef payment goes up? Or is it better to let that money sit & earn a little interest in an online savings acct? And maybe pay it in a year if next escrow analysis jumps up again (?).

Finally given up on afro spring twist & marley type hair - no matter how you ACV rinse it, my hair, scalp, skin just doesn’t like it and out it goes in less than a wk - in fact, marley can start to loc into my hair after being in twists just after a week. What’s a good alternative that’s softer but still textured and comes in shorter lengths with great color options? I do best with shoulder length twists & I’m partial to ombré aka 1B/30/27 or C14. This is for 4C hair that’s lightly texturized so it acts like 4B at best.

As an east coaster new to SoCal & west coast in general I’ve had the most bizarre interactions with Blk men in San Diego and surprisingly not much positive so far when visiting LA. I’ve had a guy yell out from his car demanding to know “where you going ?!l” and that he liked my outfit, another honked his car horn insanely at a light to get my attention & blow me a kiss, another refused to back up at a railway crossing & literally got out his car to yell at me for backing up, it wasn’t until the bars slapped the hood of my car that he finally had a light bub 💡 moment & moved his car back, another guy far younger than me on a Sat night, who mind you was walking with abt 5 yt girls btw, yelled at me that I need to not be with that guy and come sit on his 🍆 to get myself right 🙄 (I was walking by with my short indian-looking guy friend who I def wasn’t dating - his buddy cancelled on him last minute so he asked if I wanted the extra ticket to try out a club downtown). It’s just been one weird, highly negative experience after the next.

How do you ladies best navigate the social scene out here? What have you learned? What tips do you have? T.I.A. 😇

Is there any shop near Mission Valley you’d suggest that be great at helping me get a rack that isn’t massively expensive but easier to lift onto my car?

I have back & knee issues - casual biking is def helping but lifting is a strain, I’d rather not put another big dent/scratch in my car from my failed attempts.

I just saw another commercial with Serena for Ro where she injects her tummy & says she lost 31lbs and that “this is healthcare”. No. It’s not Serena. Anyone else bothered or have concerns?

I saw her journey trying to fit into a jean skirt from back before she was pregnant, that was her goal.

While I appreciated her Ubrelvy commercials, was really helpful when I wasn’t sure abt it and gave it a try & glad I did, but it just seems unhealthy as a athlete with so much money and resources to encourage every day women to do weight loss injections.

She looked perfectly healthy and toned as usual before her jean skirt injection journey. I question making light of the real toll childbirth does take on women’s bodies. It seems unrealistic to support the notion of a snatch-back to being even smaller than you were bef pregnancy vs. supporting the realities of childbirth.

I’m still new to SD in some ways, I love mangoes🥭 😍, nectarines, berries, etc. but it’s been hit and miss in Mission Valley. I’ve had times when Sprouts gave me fruit that had mold in a day, same as supermarkets like Vons as well, and not everything I like is available at the weekly farmers markets.

I’ve not been to visit and explore Chicago before, I’m interested in visiting the new Obama center and attending Jazz Fest over labor day wkend (flying in from SoCal).

Which 2 days do you think would be best to attempt that? (Thurs? Fri? Sat? Sun? or Mon?)

I purchased a condo in an area of SoCal I didn’t realize was going to have a massive development up the street, first phase complete in 2028 (new homes), then the transit hub & shopping center will come in.

I’m trying my best to find a way to retire in 5 years - what’s the best thing to try to invest in as they work on this massive new development? And no, I def don’t have millions to invest in the development directly, so this is more like what would you wisely do in the $5K to $20K range.

FYI, my understanding is that funding dried up for a good bit so that’s why I didn’t realize what they were building but it’s slowly been ramping back up into a full swing since Jan of last year…

Planning to go Columbus weekend (3 Days) and visit the new Obama center. What places & events are cannot miss for that weekend?

For context, I’m not really a drinker/non-smoker. I love 😍 Garrett’s popcorn, thinking I’ll visit the main shop (any special tour or experience there you’d recommend?). I was told get pizza @ Gino’s East - same person told me the weather will be warm that time of year, true or false? I love King Spa (in VA), would have loved to spend a day at the one in Niles but their nude policy is a no-go (in Chantilly VA there’s a whole rooftop of pools & water massage jets to explore wearing a bathing suit). Is there anything similar you’d suggest?

I’ve never been to Chicago before 🤷🏾‍♀️, assume your advice is for a woman of color traveling solo.
