Vintage Estie

I picked up a vintage Estie from an antique shop on vacation and I got a new ink bladder for it but one side pf the nib tip is snapped off. Am I able to use the modern nibs in the Vintage Estie or do I need to get an older nib? I’m new to restoring FP and I wanna do it right😂**(not my pen in the photo just wanted to use one as reference looks almost the exact same)**

Older BassMaster Classic casting rod and Shimano reel

Found this rod in my Uncles garage but havent grabbed it yet. (sorry for second pic I was rushing and didn’t realize it was so blurry) The rod says BassMaster Classic Series with a pistol grip but could anyone help identify the Rod and reel?

I have this 74 Ranger XLT that’s been sitting on my grandparents property for the last 17 years and I’m going to start tearing into it next weekend. I know from just looking in the engine bay that the wiring chewed but would it be better to splice and try to save what I have or find a new harness somewhere
