Kept you on the hook habang hinihintay maging single?

Ano gagawin ninyo?

May timeframe ba kayo? Or depende sa situation — kung bakit nag-break, gaano katagal, etc.? Curious kung paano kayo mag-decide.

Paano naging standard na ang "for richer and even richer" sa dating ngayon?

May negosyo, properties, investments. When did "may work, maayos na buhay" stop being enough?

"For richer and even richer" — is this na talaga ang unspoken dating standard ngayon?

Parang "for richer or poorer" is outdated na. Kung mapapansin niyo, a lot of people — hindi lang women, men din — are very upfront now na financial stability is a requirement, not just a preference.

Hindi ko sinasabing mali yan. Adulting is expensive. I'm only here for the upgrade"?

Genuine question: do you think there's still a difference between having financial standards vs. being with someone purely for the money? Or blurred na yung line?

Totoo bang that common ang Agent-TL/TM relationships sa BPO? Chika tayo.

May kakilala akong nag-BPO for years and sabi niya halos bawat account niya, may Agent-TL or Agent-TM tandem na "something more than workmates."

Gets ko naman kung bakit — night shift, same team, high-stress environment, tapos ang TL mo pa ang pinaka-present na tao sa buhay mo sa work. Recipe na nga for closeness eh.

• Sinuportahan ba ng company, binalewala, o may consequence?

• or dapat mas strict ang enforcement ng policies?

Walang judgment, chika lang. 👀

The Salary Is Not the Prize

The text image below is viral on Instagram, but I want to make a point: senator's salary? That's just a coin in the real money game.

* A senator's 2026 basic salary is around ₱306,000–₱342,000 a month. Big for the average Filipino, yes. But in politics? That is not the prize. That is the front desk allowance.

* Because if the salary is ₱342,000 a month, that is only around ₱4.1 million a year. In a full 6-year Senate term, that's roughly ₱24.6 million in basic salary.

* But in 2025, some Senate candidates declared over ₱100 million to ₱179 million in official campaign spending. Bato himself reportedly declared around ₱128.7 million. Question: how do you get ₱128 million out of a ₱24.6 million six-year salary? That's not a math problem. That's a red flag.

* And that's just SOCE (Statement of Contributions and Expenditures). That doesn't include premature campaigning, pre-campaign ads, early political machinery, influencers, rallies, sorties, "volunteer" operations, donor spending, third-party support, in-kind favors, and political networks that are not always fully captured in official campaign expense reports.

* That doesn't include the around ₱6 million per month of senators' MOOE, office funds, consultants, staff allocations, committee resources, insertions, procurement influence, donor payback, and pork barrel-style networks.

* Budget insertion, you may call it amendments, call it projects, call it “for the constituents,” but we already know the danger: when a legislator inserts funds into infrastructure, they may have a claim, influence, or expectation on the project.

* That’s where pork barrel-style politics comes in. The old PDAF was already struck down, but the spirit of the pork barrel doesn’t automatically die. It’s just a change of costume. Sometimes a line item. Sometimes an insertion. Sometimes a “local project.” Sometimes “flood control.” Sometimes a contractor who always seems to win the raffle even though it’s not Christmas.

* If you chair committees, you can also have access to more committee budgets, hearings, staff support, consultants, operational funds, visibility, agenda-setting power, and budget influence. Being a committee chair means more public resources and more levers of influence under your control. In politics, control is often more valuable than salary.

* There is also a transparency issue in liquidation by certification, where certain congressional expenses may be liquidated through certifications instead of the stricter kind of public-facing, itemized receipt trail ordinary people expect. It doesn't mean that everything is automatically fake. The point: when public money is held, weak documentation creates weak accountability.

* Do you think that ₱342,000 a month can sustain the lifestyle of many national politicians? The convoys, security, staff, events, travel, tarps, media teams, handlers, lawyers, operators, and endless political machinery? Please. Ordinary workers budget salaries. Over budget power.

* I'm not saying all that is legal personal income. The point: a Senate seat can become access to hundreds of millions, even billions, in political influence and public-money pathways if they want to abuse it. The salary is not the prize. The power over money is.

* So when the talk is “salary is a waste,” that’s not enough. The real question is: how much did it cost to sit in, who funded it, where did they get it back, what committee power do they hold, and what public money will they handle once they’re inside?

To the ordinary employee, salary is their livelihood. To the swindler, salary is just the receipt paper. The real transaction is somewhere else.

Tesla driver passes out drunk on Autopilot — arrested for DUI

A Tesla driver was found passed out behind the wheel of his car as it drove itself through busy streets in Vacaville, California. Police caught up with the vehicle and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana.

It is the latest in a long string of incidents where Tesla owners have treated the automaker’s driver-assist systems as if they were a designated driver — and it keeps happening because Tesla keeps marketing them that way.

DIM from buying this Digital Tire Air Pressure Gauge Meter

Or checkout na?

Keychain digital tire gauge vs pencil-type?

Keychain digital tire gauge vs pencil-type — which one do you actually use for your motor?

Nag-shopping ako ng tire pressure gauge for daily motor use.

Ano ginagamit ninyo?
