I’m rocking Turtle Beach PX22 which i’ve had for 10-15 years and i’m so used to the sound that HyperX Cloud Alpha, Logitech G Pro X both sounded horrible, even when plugged into the PX22 DAC/AMP so i can tweak the bass and treble.

I’ve been looking at some Beyerdynamic 770 Pro and 990’s and the TYGR 300 R as i’m looking to stick to wired and not fussed about a mic, but these headphones have been out for so long already, are they still the “go to”?

Which headphones can you recommend for gaming? Looking to spend up to £140.

I’ve been playing fps games for years but never dabbled in csgo much, when i jump into a deathmatch, people who spawn in just instantly 90 degree headshot me and the spawns are god awful in deathmatch. How is this possible? Is this game just a headshot simulator where people train to aim for only the head?

Does anyone else’s BE65 run fairly warm, enough to warm your hands up? I understand it’s WiFi 7 and 6Ghz and it seems to run hotter than the XE75 but i just want to see if it’s a normal thing with this model?

I’m coming from a Sky 2.5GB Gigafast+ Hub which is WiFi 7 & Tri-Band, which you’d think is the best of both worlds but for me it was awful. My old Vodafone Pro Hub 2 which was WiFi 6E was the best router i have ever owned, literally didn’t need to buy any third party equipment.

I recently bought 2 XE75’s and after realising that the mesh system works well together in my house with thick walls, i ended up buying the BE65 as it was WiFi 7 and Tri Band and it was even better!

Has anyone had issues with the BE65 or does your units run hot in the long run?

I have the Sky Gigafast+ Hub 2.5GB package and the wifi is poor, speeds are slower than the previous Vodafone Pro 3 but at least i don’t have drop outs. Before that (around a month ago) i was at the end of my Vodafone Pro 2 contract which was 10/10 for the standard ISP hub for wifi speeds and range, literally didn’t need a third party router at all. (Vodafone was 910mbps, Sky is 2.5G both been with CityFibre)

Our house has thick walls and people just don’t get it when i say it’s not the internet that’s bad, it’s the poor router and thick walls. We’ve been with Virgin, Vodafone, Sky and it’s always the same answer.

Has anyone got this package or has a similar solution/scenario where they replace ISP crap with a mesh network and what did you go for?

Ideally i want to pay around £250 at most and still have the 2.5G port if possible, i also have the Sky package so i’m aware it may need DHCP option 61?

Currently on the 910mbps full fibre vodafone pro 2 plan with the WiFi 6E router and i’m paying £48! Which started at like £37 as it goes up every April a few quid. I can upgrade to the Pro 3 which does have WiFi 7 but lacks 6ghz, i have done tests around the house and it’s shown that 5ghz has more range and just as fast speeds as we have thick walls in the house. For example, we have 2 firesticks which sit on 6ghz but at low signal, this would probably be better if they were under a 5ghz radio.

Sky are offering for £2 more (so £35 a month compared to £33 on pro 3) , a 2.5gig link (which i’d only utilise on wired for a PC) but their router has wifi 7 and 6ghz. I understand i could probably turn off the 6ghz if i need to but is the reliability of Sky and their router any good? The vodafone router and booster give us signal everywhere so i know it’s proven and works.

i don’t know if it’s worth the hassle cancelling vodafone and going with Sky just for 2.5g speeds and wifi 6ghz which has proven to not be great, even 2m from the router.

I will probably not buy a 3rd party router as i did buy a £140 one before and it was actually worse than the Pro 2 hub for speed and range which is weird so I’m very happy using the ISP provided router

Has anybody had experience with the Pro 3 WiFi 7 router? I’m currently using Pro 2 and i’m getting mixed reviews online regarding peoples experience with the Pro 3 but some posts are over a year old now which is when it was first released.

I understand the Pro 2 uses 6ghz while the Pro 3 is limited to 2.4 and 5ghz (but uses MLO). Right now on my iPhone i’m utilising 6ghz but i would guess either way i’m going to be hitting 900mb download speeds whether i’m on 5ghz vs 6ghz,

For the booster, my 6E booster isn’t even in range to pick up 6ghz so even with the new wifi 7 booster, both are still going to be operating on 5ghz so is there really any reason to stick with the Pro 2?

Has anyone gone from a mid-large size mouse to the OP1 8k v2 and adjusted to the size over time? I'm coming from the wired HyperX Pulsefire Haste which is slightly wider, longer and has a more full feeling in the palm.

I love how accurate i am with the OP1 and i quite like the shape but i can't tell if i'm feeling a strain or if it's just placebo effect. I've seen posts with people who have 20x10 and they claim it to be comfortable, i just want to know if it's others have adapted to the size after using a bigger mouse for years before?

So i've found out i can only really have mice that has this ledge circled here for my 4th finger to sit on, if it doesn't have this i can accidently click the mouse with it as it creeps up when adjusting mouse movement in game OR if the ledge is still there but thinner than the one in the picture then that's also an issue too for the same reason (tried and tested on the Rapoo VT7 Max which has the ledge but it's thin).

I'm now debating between the Haste 2 wired or the OP1 8k v2. When i do aim tests online i perform better with the OP1 but the comfort of the Haste 2 feels more natural and i still aim well, just ever so slightly not as pin pointy shall we say.

Is the Haste 2 still a high spec/pro level mouse and just one step behind the OP1 in terms of performance? I do also wonder if i never used the original Haste, would the OP1 just feel normal size and everything after would feel bigger. I'm torn between these 2 mice as i'm used to the Haste feel but i prefer the OP1 performance.

TLDR: Typical comfort vs performance battle, which one should i go with for long term use? Could i get used to the OP1 size after using original Haste for 3 years? Or is the difference not too much for the performance trade off?

Mouse enthusiats, summon yourselves. I am im posession of the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 (wired and got for £20), Rapoo VT7 Max (£60) and Endgame OP1 8k V2 (£70).

I am upgrading from the original HyperX pulsefire Haste and so far the Rapoo is good but my ring finger has no ledge to sit on like it does on the haste, though i seem to have adjusted to holding it down the side more. My aim is solid on this even though the mouse feels slippery due to it’s texture but i know i can always use grip tape.

The Pulsefire Haste 2 is more comfortable although the ledge bit seems to stand out more now and in aim tests i’m not as accurate with it although the coating is nice and grippy for me. (The other 2 seem more snappier and i can aim and click more easily and faster)

Endgame op1 8k v2 has the ledge and it’s not as prominent, maybe the perfect fit for that finger ledge, though the mouse is small and narrow, i feel like it could cause hand strain in future perhaps? 18.5x 8.5 hands. I have a relaxed claw grip.

Which of these mice would you keep based on their specs, and how i view them as?

I came from the wired Hyper X Pulsefire Haste and now got the Rapoo VT7 Max for £60. Have i made the right purchase or should i try another mouse out that’s a similar price/performance? I’ve seen a lot of the Attack Shark x3 but this seems to be a little weaker in terms of performance and battery life i think, could be wrong but would you keep the VT7 Max or could i have gotten better for the same price?
