What do you think of the youtuber The Ark's views on Homer's view on ethics?

I guess it's essentially Nietzschean but does the field support it?

E.g. Alain Delon, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen.

Is Puglia overrated?

Compared to other places it doesn’t have the same level of history or architectural/artistic beauty as other tourist towns cities, there's Lecce & the skulls in Otranto are interesting. But most of the places people are promoting on itineraries as being pretty villages with little beyond the attribute of pretty. The trulli & Matera seem interesting but there seems to be little to them besides tax avoidance & people lived in caves.

Movies like the Serpent

In terms of its portrayal of the free-spirited way people travelled in the past. No doing it to profit as an influencer, just following the hippie trail or wherever their heart and adventure brings them.

What places have you found had the best tour guides

Andalucia

- not good in Alahambra & Seville talked too much about flowers & foreign exchange students. Surely more could have been mentioned about the reconquesta & Al-Andalus.

Scotland, Edinburgh & Stirling especially

- very knowledge especially in Stirling Castle & cathedral
