Fun adult Halloween activities to do alone in Puyallup?

This is my first Halloween in WA ever and idk what to do but don’t wanna spend my first one here inside. I’m over 21. Anything fun that’s not family related for Halloween in this town? I’d most likely be going to these places alone so I don’t want to be stuck around families and I want to have fun where children aren’t around lol

If you have suggestions in other cities I’m down for that too

Romantasy books that aren’t too tiktok-ified

I feel like it’s hard to find a fantasy book that’s more fantasy than romance nowadays. I don’t want to read fantasy-smut. I want to read a fantasy book with some romance as a side story.

Pls help me find one! 🩷

My laundry detergent fell off the shelf and for some reason the cap was off so it just spilled everywhere. I just bought it and now it’s underneath our washer and dryer🥲🥲

Can I bleach my hair the same day I washed it? If not, can I 12 hours later?

I heard it’s mostly about the scalp but I’m not dying the scalp more of a highlight job like the photo I provided. Since I’m not doing that, can I bleach it same night I wash it?

My hair is the second picture and I’m worried about damaging the curls. Pls let me know if me not waiting would damage them🩷

Would adding paper around my ceiling light be a fire hazard?

Not to the bulb itself but around the cover.

I want to do this flower paper craft around my ceiling light but was wondering if it would be a fire hazard?

The first picture is the inspo and the second is my own light. Can I do this with my light as well safely ?

If any of you have done this do you have any advice? Thank you!!

Am I the only person who likes eye contact nowadays?

I actually have to force myself to look away during conversations more frequently so I can help the other person who isn’t comfortable with eye contact feel better.

It’s gotten to a point where I feel free when I meet someone else with strong ass eye contact. Like yes god I don’t have to look away every three fuckin seconds.

Maybe this sounds weird but I love eye contact. I wish I didn’t feel like I have to accommodate for other peoples anxieties with it during conversations.

Am I crazy for feeling this way? Lmk

Got four brand new tires for free from Discount Tire. Is this normal?

I went in to get air and tires rotated. On the way home the low pressure light came back on so I drove back and told them about it. They looked at them again and they realized the tires were all on the wrong way (???) so they just decided to just give me four brand new tires that are actually put on correctly.

It was actually amazing bc I did a 20ish hour drive to move up north and those tires really helped me during the winter since my old ones were basically bald lmao.

I told my family and they said it wasn’t normal and that I only got em cause they were flirting but I think they just give em out to make customer service higher for bad mistakes.

Is this a normal thing that they do?

Is the Seattle Waterfront safe in late October for a young woman?

Hello I’m going to the Waterfront Parking Garage in late October for two concerts. I have to walk about 10-20 minutes to and from the garage and I’d probably be back to my car in that garage around 11pm.

Do locals think it’d be safe there for a young woman walking in that area around midnight by herself? Especially since it’d be around Halloween. I’ll be there October 21st and the 29th.

How to allow myself to feel attractive when I’ve only recently become conventionally attractive

Idk if this is gonna even make sense but I’m a 24 yr old woman and I’ve never been in a relationship or kissed anyone or anything. I’ve been asked out a few times and flirted with or whatever but I think I’ve only become “pretty” within the last few years.

I was wearing a mask almost everywhere I went from 2020 till the end of 2025. Of course in the beginning it was bc of covid but when the restrictions were lifted I just continued. Once I stopped wearing the mask I got attention I’ve never really gotten before. I’m flirted with more and told I’m pretty by strangers especially men. I get creepy questions and more attention in general from them.

Since I grew up ugly and wore a mask from 18-23 I really don’t feel like I’m worthy of being pretty. Like when a man walks up to me, I can’t even deal with it bc it makes me so uncomfortable so I just get red and ignore them lmao. One of my girl coworkers even asked me how I’m so pretty and what makeup I use. I don’t even feel worthy of that.

How do I allow myself to feel hot and to feel worthy enough to let the men I want flirt with me? There are so many guys I find cute but I just can’t seem to let myself do anything about it. Plus it seems like they want me too so I’m the only person standing in my way. It’s also just stopping me from having fun and going to parties.

I’m getting too old to be like this lmao. Any suggestions would be great :)

TDLR ; I’ve only recently become attractive, and I don’t feel worthy of it. I can’t allow my brain to find myself hot even though other people can and it’s stopping me from having fun.
