We’re considering going through a friend of a family member to replace an old interior door to our bedroom. He quoted us $150 for labor, plus whatever it’ll cost us to purchase the door itself.
Does this seem worth it?

Hey all. I’m going to be running a scenario for our group this weekend, and it’s the first time any of us have ever played. I’m running Blackwater Creek.
I’ve read the scenario a handful of times, so I’m familiar enough with the story, but does anyone have any tips for a newbie Keeper? Either for this scenario or in general?
I had a Ganz osteotomy like 20 years ago. One of the side effects of the surgery was some permanent nerve damage in the top of my thigh. I still have some feeling, but it’s weird. I can’t feel temperatures well, and a light touch is practically undetectable. Some stimuli though are extra sensitive. If I pull a leg hair, it hurts more than normal. And some areas are more/less sensitive than others.
Has anyone else dealt with anything like this after a surgery? This late in the game, I don’t expect the feeling to return, but does anyone have any tricks that helped restore feeling?
It also affects my muscle control on that leg, so I struggle to lift my left leg. I need to do more physical therapy, but that nerve damage makes it hard to grow the needed muscles.

my GE dishwasher just started acting up yesterday. if I turn it on, the basin fills up, but it doesn’t actually run the wash cycle of blasting water throughout the washer. it just kinda sits there, quite stewing with the hot water at the bottom.
the only noise it makes is when the basin fills up and when it drains.
any idea what could be causing this?

my wife and I have been dealing with our itchy, flaky scalps for just about a year now. I had it first, then her. we’ve been prescribed all the normal stuff, even did a lice treatment after a dermatologist thought she saw nits on the whole family (including our daughter who isn’t nearly as impacted by this, but is having a little itching).
we’ve done ketokonazole (Rx and OTC), salicylic acid, pyrithione zinc (iirc). nothings helped.
My wife’s got it pretty bad, and some of her flakes are like a centimeter across.
dermatologist is treating it currently as sebo-psoriasis, but we arent having much in the way of results yet.
Has anyone else been through anything like this?
One doctor floated the idea of environmental factors, but idk where to start. we don’t have any real signs of mold. the only big changes we’ve had are a new car (around the time my symptoms started), a new baby, and our cat started overgrooming a lot.
Went to Epic Universe this past December, and was thrilled to get just ANY Super Nintendo world merch. settled on a plain ceramic mug with the log on each side. Has anyone else had issues with the Super Nintendo World mug’s logo chipping? I always wash it by hand, but it seems that the odd bump in the sink here and there has caused the logo itself to start to chip/flake off. Has anyone else run into this?
