Got them off a bloke who’s dad died and apparently he collected a lot of stamps! I think they worked out 59p per stamp and a current 2nd class stamp costs 91p. Plus that will keep going up in the future and my stamps will still be valid ☺️

I haven't seen him since about 1998. He abused me and my maternal half-sister when we were kids. I learned when I got older that he used to abuse my mother and one day when I was around 15 he threatened to kill her when I was there next to her so because he was a nasty bastard, I swore never to have anything to do with him. I found out today went on to have a daughter with someone he had been in a relationship with for well over a decade - both of whom he was also estranged from when he died, I don't know why. I haven't spoken to anyone on that side of the family since around 1998 also.
An uncle that I haven’t seen since about 1992 rang me today out of the blue and broke the news. I'm not sure how I feel tbh. Just needed to say it out loud - if this even counts as that? He asked if I wanted to be executor of the estate and make all the arrangements, since I am the eldest child - or did I want to keep out of it and stay out if it all and leave him to sort it all. Apparently he was a "bit of a hoarder" 😳 I know not where he died (I know it was hospital, but I don't recall if he said which one) I don't know where he lived - if he owned or rented or any of that. He lived alone, I gather that much.
Just trying to process this all and make sense of what to do.

Diagnosed with Crohn's 10 years ago but had a rubbish gastro team so only really started getting treatment this year. I've been on it for 6 months now and if anything it is making things worse. My gastro issues are still present, and as urgent as ever! but in addition to that, I now get infections every week! A cold every week! A constant cough that has not cleared for 5 months! Every time I jab myself, I end up out of action for 2-3 days because it leaves me feeling so wiped out. My muscles in my legs actually hurt. I've never experienced fatigue like this - even in my worse flare!
I'm going away on holiday next week and am miserable because I know I am going to be feeling like crap for it. My next Vedo jab is Sunday and I know that as soon as I do it, it's gonna wipe me out for 2-3 days, then I'm gonna be feeling tired and grumpy for my trip away.
I really thought that biologics would help. I felt absolutely amazing for a few days after the first infusion, but slowly and surely, any benefits have slipped away over the months and I feel like I'm back to square 1 with my gut, and have all this extra fatigue stuff to deal with on top too!
I've emailed my gastro nurse to ask for her opinion, and obviously I would never just stop taking it! I just thought I'd ask here too as there are people here with lived experience that I would like to learn of.
