Vintage train rides included with Museum admission July 4–5!
Summer is officially here, and so is our birthday!
For our 50th anniversary weekend, we’re bringing back the spirit of the old HH Shuttle, just like we did on opening day in 1976, with special vintage train rides between the Museum at Court St and Hoyt-Schermerhorn on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5. These rides are included with regular Museum admission, so no separate ticket is needed, but advance registration is recommended.
We’ll also have longer, ticketed Nostalgia Rides throughout the summer for anyone who wants a bigger trip through the system on our vintage fleet. We’re headed to Coney Island on Saturday, July 18 and the Rockaways on Sunday, August 16.

Anybody feeling bored these days?
I feel bored. I need something to do. I can't help myself. And nyc is boring. Pre covid it was interesting. Now it feels there's nothing to do during free time. Everything feels so stale now. Concerts be having boring music lineups. No Bruno Mars, no Chris brown, or Beyonce. They be having music acts like the geese.

Summer nostalgia rides NYTM
Tickets are available now for the NYTM vintage beach bound train rides.
Saturday July 18 Coney Island R1-9 vintage fleet will be used.
Sunday August 16 Rockaway Beach Equipment to be determined
Both trips depart from 96th st 2nd ave Q train subway station at 10AM.
