The one that started it all.

I was a fan of comic books back in the late 80s and early 90s. I loved Neil Gaiman’s Sandman when it was released in 89. Not long after, my local comic book store put Good Omens out on display, dragging me in on the fact that a creator whose work I loved was involved.

I loved it and could tell immediately that the humor was what the other author brought to the collaboration.

So I started collecting. Paperbacks of the books already in print, hardcovers from when I joined the following.

NB: I don’t loan books to friends any more. That’s the reason some are missing.

Banksia & bees

It might be a gloomy Mother’s Day morning here in Melbourne, but seeing bees collecting gifts off our Banksia flowers makes me very happy.
