Getting my first Ipsy box ever! I've never really been into makeup, but over the past 6 months I've been slowly dipping my toes (and having so much fun). I've made a lot of mistakes with purchases just because of my lack of knowledge. Figured this would be a good way to try a little bit of everything at a slightly cheaper price. Pretty excited about the selections! It was hard to choose. 😭
I have been trying to take better care of my skin as I age, but something that has always plauged me is my dark circles and sunken eyes. (They literally called me zombie girl growing up. Lol) I've been using the La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Anti-Aging Eye Serum with Hyaluronic Acid every day, but it is very expensive and I've not had much progress at all. I am also using the Ordinary Gel Moisturizer. In fact, I feel like a side effect has been that my under eye wrinkle is even more pronounced and making me look even older. For additional context, my skin is combo/oily and I do get cystic acne sometimes.
I'm very interested in trying some kskincare because I feel like I've tried everything available to me in the US.
I have color corrector that works really well when I'm doing full face, but trying to go "naked" as much as possible. What eye creams/serums have you used successfully? Is there something more I could do?
Have been looking at numbuzin no. 9 or the haruharu wonder eye cream, so if you have experience with those, please share your thoughts. ❤️

At my work, every water fountain tastes so different! Luckily, the best tasting one is closest to my desk. Always super crisp and the perfect temperature. Looking at the little "water bottles refilled" counter, its way higher than the other fountains, by like 10x. So, I know its not just me! (Though, it is possible most of it is from me. 😂)
Once time, our building was being remodeled, so we got sent to a different building for a few months. It was awful. Not a single water fountain had good water. I refuse to use the water spigot on the soda machines, it always tastes so strange! I was bringing multiple water bottles from home every day so I didn't have to worry about refilling while I was there!
Do you have a favorite refill spot? What wild things will you do in order to always have access to your favorite water?
I've been terrible to my hands for many years. Now that I work in an office setting, my nails feel like they need much more attention to look nice and professional.
I've quit biting and picking FINALLY, and that has helped so much. But my nails are just so weak that using my keyboard bends, chips, and splits my nails on a weekly basis. I'm an accountant, so my hands are on my keyboard and mouse 8 hours a day. My nails as pictured here is about as long as I can keep them without them constantly breaking.
My current routine is Some By MI Beta Panthenol Repair Body Cream on my hands directly after shower daily. I make sure to really massage it into my cuticles and sides of my nails, followed up with jojoba oil. I have to clip them about once a week because by then they'll already be so broken and I like to keep them all the same length, so I'm doing routine maintenance. Pushing cuticles, filing and the like.
I'm trying this Ohora Natural Glow Milk Syrup Polish in Cherry Blossom for the first time, hoping that maybe the layer of polish will help them hold up a bit better. I can never commit to an entire color so went this more clear coat route.
What has helped you all? What technique or product do you swear by? What more can I add to my routine?

I'm getting my first lash lift in a few weeks. Wanted to start using a serum before and after. What do you guys love? Budget doesn't matter, if it's expensive but worth it, awesome. If it's cheap and just as good, that's just a bonus!

Been eyeing the Olaplex Lashbond as the reviews seem promising, but I'm just curious!
How did I do?! They only thing I probably will not use is the camo liquid. It seems too dark for me. And I'm not the best at contouring. The brow brush/pencil looks amazing and is my perfect shade. Excited to try both of the Cheeky Kisses. Very new to make-up!
