Scar x Arken (ft. Prodigy)

Scalpers hung me to dry buying the MI rail extension I had no money for leupold scope (kidding. Sort of 😂). Honestly for 280 beans I just wanted to see what Arken could do. First impressions out of the box it’s super clear and the turrets are very crisp no play in them. I grabbed the prodigy on sale and it’s almost a perfect match in the green cerakote on the scar. Obviously the most important thing is to have matching secondary when the commies fall from the sky 😉😂

I need to get a different exhaust for my 2025 fatboy as the VH short shots are dumping under my passenger pegs. I’m also aware they are not the best for power even though aesthetically I like them a lot.

Looking at either the Bassani Road Rage or the Blockhead M8 with their breacher tip.

The blockhead doesn’t use heat shields and I would wrap the pipes. That’s a pro to me because heat shields are PITA. The bassani is equal length header pipes and has a unique curvature to the design as a result

Brought home the ‘25 fat boy tonight! Haven’t ridden in 2.5 years so I put it on rain mode to get my wits about me again. Within 3 miles I was itching to crack the throttle and let her eat! Unfortunately still in break in but damn she’s got power!! It’s exactly how I pictured riding it, and that’s a great thing. To anyone on the fence about trying Harley if you’re coming from sport bikes, definitely try it. The comfort and torque is incredible even on the rain setting. I’m sold!! I have a couple weeks before my 511 cam comes in so I can see the difference when it’s done compared to now.

Bought my first Harley today at Dallas HD in Garland TX. As a younger guy myself I didn’t think I’d see anything I liked when I visited the store last week. But the new fat boy styling was exactly what I was looking for. The part that really sold me was the extensive parts and accessories catalogue that I can really personalize the bike. No sport bike brand has that level of customization. It’s a 2025 and came with VH pipes and the heavy breather. Having stage 2 511 cam put in. Last bike I owned was a 2023 ZX6R. So the torque will take some getting used to 😂
Also looking for people in east Dallas area who might want to ride. I’m new to the area and not sure what’s good

Oh and the folks at Dallas HD were great to deal with. The parts guy Steve was super patient as I spent and hour going over parts I’d like to add and finding cross reference numbers. They really went out of their way to earn my business and made me feel like I was investing in a community not just a bike

I’m super happy with how this turned out and the elusive MI rail extension. Waited 12 weeks to have it coated(peak season), the shop did an amazing job particularly with taping the top and bottom rails for the black. The line is so straight it looks factory. Now for finishing it out with an optic and some accessories. This was done by Wicked Weaponry in New Hampshire and they do take shipping. Check out their instagram
