First timer in your beautiful country, we had to spend one night in in humule right across from artificial beach before going to our resort the next day. Unfortunately there was a huge political protest. It appeared there was an official (mdp I think?) gathering on the beach and then some other group with a huge sound system set up in the street to drown out the official gathering. What’s the deal? It was basically just two people on microphones screaming over each other and then using blaring music to try and silence it. Can anyone explain the players and what the contention is in laymen’s terms?
