[38mm] I was completely on the wrong track
For years, I think I was completely on the wrong track.
My wrist is only 16.5 cm (about 6.5 inches), yet almost every watch I owned was 42 mm or larger.
A few weeks ago, I bought a 38 mm Seiko. What can I say?
I can barely wear any of my larger watches anymore. Now they all look way too big to me, honestly, almost comically oversized.
It makes me wonder: what changed?
What made me buy 44 mm watches (and even bigger) for so many years? And I'm not talking about 10 or 20 watches. I've owned quite a lot over the years.
Now that I've settled on 38 mm, it just feels right. It's comfortable, looks proportional, and I honestly love it.
The only downside is that I'm seriously considering selling all those oversized "wall clocks."
Has anyone else gone through something similar?
Did your taste in watch sizes completely change over time?
[srpk31] Fantastic color
What a fantastic color! This watch has quickly become my new favorite.
Come on, Citizen... where are all the cool small watches?
Until recently, I was mostly a Citizen guy. I absolutely love Citizen's radio-controlled Eco-Drive watches. A few days ago, I picked up two 38 mm Seiko 5 Sports models, and I have to say, I'm blown away by how good the 38 mm size feels on the wrist.
That got me looking at what Citizen currently offers in 38 mm, and I was surprised to see that most of their lineup is still 40 mm and above. The selection of 38 mm models is honestly pretty disappointing.
So I'm curious—how do you all feel about this? Does anyone know if Citizen has any plans to release more 38 mm radio-controlled Eco-Drive watches?
Personally, I think the era of oversized watches is slowly coming to an end. Whenever I put on a 45 mm watch now, it just feels awkward and out of place.
Come on, Citizen... where are all the cool small watches?

[SRPK35K1] 38mm, the obligatory question.
I bought my first 38mm Seiko 5, and now comes the obligatory question: is it actually too small?
Most of my other watches are around 42–44mm, and I even have a couple that are 45mm, so I'm not sure what to think.
What does the Seiko community say?

Seiko [SRPK35K1]. Is it a good watch?
I just ordered the Seiko SRPK35K1. Is it a good watch? What does the Seiko community think about the orange version? Did I make the right choice, or did I make a mistake?
I usually only own black and silver Citizen Eco-Drive dive watches, but I found this color absolutely stunning.
Erinnerst du dich noch an das wichtigste Peripheriegerät, das man damals haben musste?
Okay, danach kamen vielleicht der Competition Pro und das Floppy-Laufwerk.
Aber, ohne Datasette? - Nein!

It has almost everything to love it: radio-controlled time, solar power, sapphire crystal, 200 m water resistance.
What do you think of the CB5920-86E? It’s hardly seen here.
