Good way to spend a Friday evening in Exeter by yourself?
I'm heading down tomorrow to visit my mum who stays in Exeter and to see Los Campesinos on Saturday night. Turns out she's off away on Holiday on Friday afternoon so I've got nothing to do on Friday evening. Seems a waste to spend a Friday evening just sat indoors given the weather is nice. Any recommendations on something to do on a Friday evening besides just going to a pub and drinking solo? (am 34 and not sure I can handle two nights out in a row on the booze anymore).
I like alternative music, nice walks, museums, comedy and I don't mind travelling somewhere on the train as long as I can back on the last train to Exeter. Any suggestions /r/Exeter?
