I'm from an area that is very conservative, white and generally racist.

I met this black guy a few weeks ago, he was really sweet and we met up and hit it off really well. We've been messaging seeing each other whenever we can since but I know my family would strongly disapprove if they found out.

I live at home still so it's not like I can avoid them and I know if my parents found out I was dating a guy who's black they would be really angry.

I don't want to stop seeing him but I'm sure it's going to come out at some point if we carry on.

He is really nice and he knows that I can't really be seen with him publically. We live in a small town where everyone knows everyone so it's really difficult but he's cool with how things are currently.

What do I do moving forward? I know eventually It will have to come out but I'm scared of what my parents would do.

I've had a few dates now with different women and each of them have said they either didn't smoke/vape or did it very occasionally, their profile would always be non-smoker or "occasional" and when I asked they would make out it was very rare and only when drunk etc. But in every case when we met up they vaped constantly through dates and a couple of them smoked a lot of cigarettes when I was with them too.

Do ladies like to play it down generally?

I've been messaging a girl from Bumble for a little while and we've been on a couple of dates already. She's really nice, down to earth, funny and very attractive. Looks wise i'm definitely punching.

The only downside is she smokes a huge amount. She did have it on her profile that she smokes "occasionally" and I did ask her before we met as I really don't like smoking and said she vapes mostly and has a few cigarettes when she is out with friends or stressed from work.

It quickly became apparent that she smokes a lot. On our first date she vaped constantly and then towards the end asked if she minded she light a cigarette. The second date she smoked several cigarettes, she came to a birthday party of a friend of mine and smoked nearly a whole pack and then we met for a coffee and walk in the day and again she was basically chain smoking.

I did bring it up that she was smoking a lot and she said she knows she's got into a bad habit again and is trying to cut down but I don't know if I believe her.

In pretty much every other way she is perfect but I don't if I could be in a relationship with such a heavy smoker.

Is it worth persevering with?

Soo me and my friend were at All Bar One in the city centre earlier. We had gone outside for a cigarette and heard come commotion, some women were quite rowdy and a couple of guys were involved too. Next thing I know one of the guys got pushed in the canal by a woman and then another woman threw the other guy in just after.

No idea what caused it but it was hella funny to watch and see the poor guys try and get out of the water soaking wet!

Does anyone know what caused it or have it filmed?

My wife has a friend who we have both known for a long time. She's been a friend of my wife for a long time and would class her as a friend of mine too.

The guy she had hooked up with is a uni student so we picked her up from the campus where he's staying. Bare in mind out friend is 28 and this guy was 19 apparently. We arrived and she was in a state. Dress straps broken, make up run down her face, she looked awful.

She got in the car and I started driving back to her place. She started moaning about how she always ends up in some sort of trouble but not taking any responsibility for herself. At this point, I lost my rag a little bit and had a go at her for causing her own issues and saying she's been a mess since she split up with her ex and she was embarrasing herself. I was annoyed because my wife had been really worried about her and out friend didnt seem to care.

My wife said I was a bit harsh with her in the car but she also said she agreed generally with what I said but I could have been more delicate with how I said it.

AITA for having a go at her. I'm not a prude or against a woman doing whatever she wants but the lack of responsibility and general victim complex has got to me now.

Hey. I'm a female backpacker from the UK.

I'm going to be living in Melbourne for a few months and need a job ASAP. I only have accommodation for a few days so I need something that will pay me per shift or weekly ideally.

I've done bar work and waitressing before and I'm very good with people and fairly confident.

Is it easy to find a job like that for someone in my situation?

I've only been on dating apps a short while but the amount of guys that have either wanted me to peg them or brought up femdom early on is crazy.
