I wrote a post about 2 years ago about my whacked out doctor, Dr Gary Gilcrease, Kyle Tx who was busted for DUI and Meth. I just found out he skated on both charges! He lost his medical practice and doesn't have a license right now due to the treatment of another patient for which he didn't follow through on what the Medical Board required. He not only fucked me up for years before I stopped seeing him but for at least a year with the aftermath of his actions! When I told him I was going to stop certain meds he had been prescribing me he literally "LAUGHED IN FACE' and told me to take Ashwagandha vitamins of all things! I'll never forget his face laughing at me is permanently embedded in my brain!
** He not only screwed me up but I have heard from hundreds of patients of the damage he caused them or their elderly parents! The major damage was to people's kidneys especially the elderly. Dr Gilcrease claimed to be an expert in Kidney Disease, Kidneys failing from being Diabetics! He had no specialty training besides being a GP! My heart broke every time I heard their stories! One of my daughter's friend and her whole family use to go to Gilcrease. The Uncle went because he thought he had strep. Gilcrease took one look and said no you don't have strep and filled a perscription of Vicodin for him. Two days later still in pain he went to another doctor who ran a strep test & confirmed he had strep! My daughter's friend/ family had more stories and they all left! He use to prescribe Pain Killers like they were candy!
*** I called Texas Medical Board to see if he could get his license back but the lady I spoke to this time was of zero help! So I will keep moving forward to see what I can do.
*** The front brick business facade that listed all business inside the building took his name off, locked his office and confiscated his office furnishings. I'm going to go by there and hang a temporary sign where his name was and say "So Long, Farewell and Good Riddance!" Then I'm going to take a photo of me laughing with a sign in my hand saying "Feeling Blue Gary GilcreaseTake Some Ashwagandha heard itskez you feel better!"
*** I know it not mature of me however with what this drugged out so called doctor who ran a Pop Up Drug Shop did to me. I want him to know I survived without him but he cannot say the same thing about himself!

If you're in Kyle and have read about Kyle Library Thrift Store it is no longer a thrift in my opinion! They have become a low end boutique (lack of another word) where used watches, Timex $100.00, Inviticas $50.00 are charged top dollar for watches sold as is and not tested! Came across a pair of men's used Nike shoes to the tune of $30.00! Somewhat more expensive Purses a minimum of $30.00 and they are not all designer nor leather bags! They have under glass case 925 Silver Necklaces at top prices plus non Silver pieces at outrageous prices! This is a store that I have literally spent $thousands$ at over the years before they decided to try and become high end! They have chased me away to where I stop in in couple of months just like the trashed Goodwill store that decided broken items, cracked purses (they no longer sell any decent brands), $8.49 for all shirts etc were acceptable products. At this point I look at the end of thrift stores in Kyle Tx a good thing due to saving me/family money!
We have 4 new Kidde Smoke Detectors that were installed less than 6 months ago! They keep going off! The main one in the hallway by the back office and bedroom starts and then the others join in!! They are wired and also hold a battery! We are at are wits end with the alarms just going off and not stopping! We want sleep tonight and if this keeps up we won't get any! Any words of advise from anyone or a fireman who knows about smoke detectors?
I triple list on 3 sale sites. I have not really listed very much due to life being upside down right now. However the past 10 days or so I sold both higher priced items not on eBay or Posh but Vinted! I love how easy it all is. Shipping is free to buyers, I pay no fees to Vinted unless I bump my listed item which I have done and both times it's paid off. The bump fees are immediately subtracted from your bank account so there's no messing with them until you put them on your spread sheet. Bumping usually is $3.00 - $6.00 which I'm still much better off than if I had sold them on eBay or Posh and paid 13.5% - 20% sellers fees. I am truly excited about the potential of Vinted and how it will grow and also as a seller. I hope their policies never change.
I have a set of MCM Lucite Grape Cluster I'm selling for $56.00. I have a buyer who has 2,049 feedback score and purchases only (doesn't sell) who apparently repeatedly keeps sending me the same offer of $15.00. I declined the first one because quite frankly she's crazy if she thinks I will sell at that price. Apparently she or eBay are playing a game because the listing tells me I have a current offer, however, when I click on it it shows no current offer. I have received at least 4 email from eBay with this same offer, same buyer and it's only been listed for 9 days! *** I've been selling since 2003 and to be honest have had very little problem with eBay and my sales. Is this just an algorithm/AI problem or is eBay just pressuring me to sell my item at the lowball offer? Any thoughts would help. I have never blocked a buyer before but I'm tempted to block her!
Two days ago I went to a Walmart in South Austin and I almost went into a full blown 'Karen' moment on how deceitful Walmart & how they now openly, without any sense of a friendly honest experience!
To be honest when I first walked in I was surprised how they had redone the store to look like any mall department stores' designs. The lighting, display pieces & mannequins was pretty impressive for a Walmart. My new impression quickly faded when at the register I found out about Walmart's blantly deceiptful practices! So here goes guys and this rant is long so sorry if I bore you.
I spent over 3 hours shopping browsing the racks when lo' and behold there were 6 racks of women's clearance clothing! Each hanging rack was filled to the rim with various sizes. I found a very cute blue lacey type shorts and matching top that I could wear over my bathing suit. Unfortunately not one piece of clothing on these racks had any pricing only the large sign above stating Clearance. I have noticed Walmart is not putting price information any longer not only on their clearance racks but throughout the store! All the information on the tags were bar codes only. So I take out my phone pulled up the Walmart app and started scanning away while being thoroughly disgusted. The cute blue shorts and top each scanned for $7.48 each. I moved onto jeans, bathing suit, tops all scanning at the claim of 5O% off. I had a small abundance of clothes that I really liked and was super charged at the pricing!
****Next I go to the make up department which is all under lock and keys. The attendant opened the cases for me and stood there the whole time I was pulling product out to compare shades of foundation, fake nails..lol, eye shadows and brushes. I felt bad that she had to stand there the whole time so after a while I just grabbed several things I was indecisive about knowing I could return the items that I decided against. She put the items in a lock box that I would take to the register.
****I also had some men's wear along with a few food items. I go to the register that actually had a cashier. He starts to check me out and after scanning not even half of the items my bill was at $134.00. I asked him to stop because there was no way I could have been at this price point already when half the clothes had not been rung up like my cute blue shorts outfit. I look at the charges and told him these prices were not correct. I explained they were all on the clearance racks but ringing up at 'FULL PRICE"! I pulled my phone out and scanned the blue shorts which clearly stated $7.48 not almost $17.00 dollars. He scans the shorts which rang up at full price. I handed him my phone and showed him what the scanner said in pricing. He takes my phone looks at the pricing then scans to the bottom of the page which stated "ONLINE ONLY"! I seriously was stunned at the amount of deceipt Walmart was committing. The clearance price I scanned said absolutely nothing below the price about being online only! It never even crossed my mind to scroll down to the bottom of the page and also not being directed to do so! .
I was one fucking pissed off bi and told the cashier I was fixin' to be a full blown Karen with this bullshit which I didn't do after taking some deep breaths! I asked for a manager. Manager arrives and tells me there is nothing he can do about the pricing it is Walmarts' policy and he does not have the authority to over ride the prices! I was absolutely astounded by Walmarts' deceiptful policies. I'm older and believe you me to shock me these days is hard to do but Walmart did it!
***I told the manager they could keep their deceiptful practices and walked out of the store empty handed after over 3 hours of shopping! So beware when you ship at Walmart and scan the items in your phone because you won't find price on the tag and you have to do employees job in getting items at the right price! Check your receipts because I can pretty say there is something that they charged you a higher price on! I am so done with these stores!

I am so sick of dentist and their straight up bullshit! Every single one of them I have tried to make appointments with for restoration does not file insurance! They want the money up front, thousands of dollars and you have to file the insurance claim! It's nothing but corporate greed when they accept your insurance yet you as a patient has to file it! Dentist save the cost of their employees doing the work therefore making them more profit in a profession that charges outrages services to begin with! Fuck this shit!
I am going to probably have stents into my heart arteries soon. I was interested to know how Reddittors who have had the procedure felt afterwards. Did you feel better overall? More energy, oxygen, better sleep etc. Not too concern about the procedure due to believing I have needed this procedure a long time ago so hopefully will feel better afterwards!
I am fed up with Target and Walmart especially! They have both gone to removing all prices from the price tags & expect us to hunt down an employee or use their useless scanners to scan items for the prices!
***About 2 weeks ago I was at Walmart & started looking at their summer tops. I actually found a cute Salmon colored sleeveless shirt of great material that doesn't make you sweat nor winkle! The sign above showed $9.94. Great so I rang it up at the register and lo' & behind rang up at $19.98. An employee came over & I quickly informed of the pricing sign so he agreed to charge me the $9.94 price. I know this price change has to do with their new gouging citizens a higher price for items during high peak shopping hours! Scamming customers till our very last dime. I went back to Walmart to buy more of the same tops but they were all out. I picked up 2 tops with no pricing. Took them to the register & price was close to $24.00! Who does Walmart believe they are to charge $24.00 for cotton tops when you use to be able to buy them from $15.00 just last year. Once again scamming every penny out of us!
***Target now has their new policy in effect of no sales on items unless it's in their AD or a special email to Target customer who sign up with your phone number. The entire store was almost at full price with little sale items but you wouldn't know it because they no longer are putting pricing on their products' tags.
***Both stores expect the customers to be the aggressive shopper & locate scanners to find the price! They also know when a customer likes an item with no pricing most customers will put the item in the cart, ring up the item at check out and notice the price. Fact of marketing they will not call a Target employee to take the item off once rung up. Proven marketing tactics. Customers want in, they want out of the store due to these tactics the customers do not want to wait for an employee along with not wanting to upset the line of customers behind them so they buy the item even if it's over priced! Most customers will just think they'll return the item on their next visit...LOL they gotcha! As the item sits in your home & time goes by you will give into temptation and keep the product instead of returning it on your next visit!
***I will tell you a little unknown fact. Sometimes when an item is on clearance the tag will show the clearance price. You can also double check the price at the scanners but don't bother! Take the clearance items to customer service because 9 out of 10 times the price is cheaper sometimes by a lot! I'm not sure why their hand held scanners show the true price when scanners and registers don't. The customer service agent always rings up my items at clearance price that was on his handheld phone (not sure what you call it). Most people don't realize this fact. So do yourself a favor while at Target go to customer service have them scan the clearance tags and you'll end up with a large savings most times!
Sorry for the length of my complaint! Feel less frustrated now that I have vented!

Sorry for my long complaint but I'm so done! I suffer from PTSD from my childhood along with other trauma being raised in Catholic Church, Catholic Schooling! In my adulthood knew Evangelicals (1 of them in particular murdered an elderly woman in God's name and one who tried to sacrifice his son because he believed this is what God wanted!
