I went on a date with a guy who coincidentally works at my dad's job

He told me how he frequently talked about cheating and acting misogynistic. Apparently he has a little clique of similar assholes who root him on (they're probably married too)

I dont even plan to tell my mom. I am sure she will deny it and just say im out to ruin their marriage (its happened before, only it was me and my brother finding a text of tits on his phone)

However I doubt it tbh... hes near morbidly obese. Hes bald. The only thing going for him is his massive ego and confidence

He said hes still not ready for a relationship. We've had sex 5 times. He tells me he loves me, we cuddle and act like partners. Then he says we're just friends?

That may seem rather common and acceptable but the problem is he rarely messages me (I mean he is busy working) but just twice a day, sometimes hes kinda cold

Im catching feelings for him which is why I get upset when he doesn't message often.

When I addressed this openly he told me I needed to find things to keep me busy so I don't need to talk to him

Even if hes not in the wrong, is this type of relationship toxic? Should I work on not being so codependent/ let him go until then

We both practice magic and share polytheistic beliefs. We met years ago as Wiccans and have sort of shared a spiritual journey together

She has always been very open minded and has started to associate with a local group that identify as "xenopagans".

They basically use AI for everything. They are obsessed with chat bots and use them for divination, spells, pretty much anything you can think of. They also tell her she can speak directly to any deity by asking a chat bot

Its getting weird, and shes developed a somewhat nasty attitude where she says I am too "traditional". Because of this i don't mention it anymore

They all seem to stick closely together and apparently have to share everything they do with AI to make sure no one is working against them

While it could just be a weird group of people and not anything serious, I know a lot about AI and it causing psychosis. To me this seems like an open invitation

How can i address my concerns without her getting guarded or angry?​

I'm mainly curious to see if there are agnostics/atheists that hold this view.

Lately it says I have reached my limit when I have only generated two? I even took a week long break from asking it to make/edit pictures, and its still doing it. (I use the free version)

When i first started using it I could probably generate 10 pics before reaching a 24 hour restriction

I honestly doubt much will advance or change. I can't bring myself to believe we won't self destruct or continously face issues with successfully achieving significant milestones

Things like immortality, anti aging, curing of disease; i could see being discovered. I just highly doubt it will go far before we screw it up in some form.

Shes dealt with a lot of mental health/addiction struggles. She ended up in the ER for a overdose

I told her I couldn't visit because it was too late but I told her I was sorry about it

She texted back "youre just as depressed and lonely as me" after she took offense

Given how extreme the situation was, do you think its understandable for her to say that? It really hurt and made me question our friendship in general

I see people changing religions alot. Its almost like they just decide to take up new beliefs repeatedly. Most say religious beliefs arent choices.

Did you personally choose your religion or were you already convinced?

If they can make it you (and not a copy) you could still die even as a machine via injury, natural disaster or homicide

I think the entire idea is fascinating on paper. in reality its really not worth the loads of money that would go into it.

He was diagnosed bpd about 5 times now cause hes always in a psych ward

Im trying to show compassion here. I know suicide threats are serious, I know you shouldn't ever assume they are fake, but in my case its clearly manipulative

He does it vindictive

Blames me for his plan to die, if anybody is happy god forbid. He will comment "well must be nice you haven't spoken to me in years" then of course makes a vague threat because he knows now Facebook will delete obvious threats
