This is a long shot but my family lost a camera on the lower east side at the park at Broome and Suffolk by the kids rope climbing tower. It had a bunch of my kid’s photos from his first photography exhibition on it.
It was lost on Friday August 7th around 4 or 5pm.
I’ve been wearing their shorties and matching toes for three weeks and I swear, someone stops me about them several times a day. They show so little wear. I’m new to press-ons but I think this may end up being a permeant part of my beauty routine. I was at a coffee shop felt cute so I took this picture.

Did anyone else see this? It started rolling in around 4:30pm. I found out there was a bad sewage spill up river after searching online. The city closed some of the beaches in Queens and also one beach from further east but left Coney Island open for people to romp in sh*tty water. From what I could see it spanned several jetties.
The water quality at the NYC beaches is only tested weekly and was last tested Monday or Tuesday, giving no indication of how much fecal matter is in the water on the 4th of July. You would think a sewage spill up river would prompt more testing and they would close the beach with visible toilet paper !!!
I informed the life guard who seemed clueless and made a 311 complaint.
I’ve been wearing this color, That’s Chic, since it came out as a replacement for a Glossier lipstick. It’s normally a sheer berry (top right.) I recently purchased a new bottle and it is now more grape than berry. Is this an intentional color change or random inconsistency? I know others have had issues with odd colors and this product but at $10 for 0.16 fl/oz is it too much to ask for them to be consistent with a color?
The old Highliner Gel Crayon in the color Blacquer was my holy grail. It was the most super pigmented, deepest black, creamy eyeliner ever. Nothing before or since comes remotely close. I'm a medium/deep olive, with the exception of Highliner, all but a handful of black eyeliners oxidize green on me 👏every👏single👏time!!! I think Blacquer was different because it had a purple undertone and very little filler.
Does anyone have the inside line on how the new Drawn This Way - Ultra Black will compare in formula and pigment to the old Highliner Gel Crayons? Am I delusional to hope MJ repackaged and renamed the old formula?
Ever since the last big update, the home link has completely disappeared from my app. When I open the app fresh, it seems to take me to some version of my “home page” but once I navigate to popular, latest or news, there is no way to return to the home page. I’m using iOS.
I’m considering visiting Iceland for the first time in August for the eclipse festival. It starts at 3pm and there is no end time given. I was wondering what time busses stop running in the evening from Hafnarfjordur to Reykjavík in the summer?
