I was blessed with pretty good skin but since the babies I feel I've aged a LOT! Any advice? Probably will consider upper bleph in 10 years. Maybe lower facelift if I hit the lottery 🤔
I'll preface this by saying I'm not looking to live in a museum, my house was built in 1930 but I don't need it to look like it's still 1930. I like to mix the decades. We are located in Toronto.
I'm looking for a rug and curtains to add some colour and style to my living room. The walls are a warm white, we have stained glass windows with yellow and green. The blue sofa will be eventually be replaced but not for a year or 2. I have 2 very young children so the soft coffee table is a safety decision. The wood on the leather sofa needs to be restained because it's currently clashing with the floors. It's going to happen eventually, just need the time. I have a canvas I'm going to use to cover the tv, again just need time. I'll paint the canvas to go with the rug.
Id love to pull colours from the stained glass window as inspo. I like studio McGee as a reference, I'd also like it to look whimsical and artistic . We have a beige and black diamond entrance rug just out of frame.
I'm interested in any and all advice, just don't tell me my tv is too high because it's not. It's at eye level 😊
I just applied iron for weeds earlier in the week and they are mostly dead. The rest of the month looks warm but not hot, but very wet.
I should mow low, rake the dead weeds, and overseed today or tomorrow. Right?? Location : Toronto
I've noticed leaves from all medium and large deceduous trees in my area turning brown or black and crispy and falling much earlier than usual, and also in large numbers. I feel like I could probably rake a bag of leaves from my lawn in August.
The leaves aren't turning yellow on my ginko before turning brown. Nor are the neighbours' maples turning orange or red. Straight to brown and crisp.
Is this likely related to the extreme heat this summer? Maybe wildfire smoke? It's multiple different species.
Any ideas? Is it happening where you are? I'm in Toronto.

What would cause the paint to look like this? Sanded and degreased the surface (powder-coated aluminum) before using SW Urethane Alkyd Enamel. Outdoor temp was warm but not hot, about 20°c
Hi all
I've expanded my garden and set up this little path across my yard. It's the same path we walk a few times a day to get to our driveway. I haven't secured it in any way yet, planning to use polymeric sand. I might flare the end to the right side slightly.
I know it's not perfect, but it my first path and I want to make sure I'm not making any obviously huge errors before I complete it. Finished is better than perfection in my life.
What do you think?
