What to think about when reading Animal farm

I found out that we will be assigned to read animal farm in my English class and that worse than going to have some kind of analysis based on the book. I’ve heard of the book before but I’ve never read it. Is there anything I should think about while reading the book? Some things? I should pay more attention to? In what kind of perspective should I be looking at while reading the book? Any tips are appreciated!

How high of a chance is it to meet an asexual man

Im pretty sure im asexual, im fine with kissing, cuddling etc, those kinds of things. But sex is like a big no, I know a lot less men are asexual and I’m unfortunately not a lesbian, so how big of a chance would there be for me to find an asexual man, has anyone ever been with one before, how was it?

I'm scared to go to the gym

So the new school I go to has given us gym cards for a gym nearby, totally free and everything. I'm 16 and I know I'm fat and overweight I know how the whole calorie thing works but I struggle w binging, I've always had a problem with my weight and now that I'm able to access a gym I really want to go...

The only thing is that I'm terrified of it, I'm scared of seeing someone I know there, such as people from my class or the boys in my school who are all muscly and lean while I'm a fat 16yr girl who barely knows what to do in there, what if I try a machine and it's too hard for me and leave it 1 minute after trying? Or if I mess up a prop while someone watches, I genuinely don't know what to do, any tips ???

Romance anime without fanservice

I have a four hour flight today and I want to watch a romance anime, but I can’t fan service and and preferably where the couple doesn’t do anything too intimate, it also has to be a straight ship because my parents are gonna have a heart attack if they god forbid see a homosexual pair, I only have Crunchyroll and Netflix so need to be on one of those

dekubaku fics recommendations?

As it says on the titles, I’m looking for DEKUBAKU fics NOT BAKUDEKU. I’m fine with mostly everything and au’s , so I’m not picky but i like fics where they still are at like U.A. or something like that. I can read mostly anything tbh as long as it’s not incest or fetishising rape.

Why is my iPad battery really bad

For context, I have an iPad A16 that I bought on April, the battery has been kind of bad ever since I bought it, but it was on 100% battery health so I just thought I was overreacting because I’ve always been an android user and thought that I was just too used to androids, but now a few months later my iPad is already at 98% battery health. And the battery dies so fast it’s annoying, I took screenshots and at 10:30 am I had 53% . And now not even an hour later, it’s 11:17 am and I have 35%. The only thing I’ve been on this past hour is Safari and TikTok nothing else. Any tips?

Was re-reading a fic I had read a few months ago and see this in the comments...

Genuinely!??? I was reading an unfinished fanfic I'd read a few months ago, I decide to look through the comments and I'm truly so mad, this sweet author doesn't deserve a bitch like that in the comment and in their third chapter they say they've been going through stuff which the commenter decided to ignore and GOES BACK to the same chapter years later to demand more!?? How if ignorant and insensitive can you be!???

Loooking for a depressed bakugou fic (?)

I don’t remember much of it but what I remember was that it was during UA and Aizawa noticed how Bakugo would be closed off in his room at the doors and so he made like a rule for him that he had to socialise for at least like 30 minutes a day outside his room, mostly in the common room I think, sos pls hjelp me yall. Also, I’m not exactly sure was depression but he was suffering.

Looking for a bakugou fic

I won’t be surprised if no one finds it, but it was basically, if I remember correct, I think that Bakugo was struggling with being deaf or something and I also remember that he had scenes with Present mic, they they met in like a group meeting for people with disabilities I think and he was also the one who gave Bakugo his deaf name, and Bakugo didn’t realise it was his teacher at that meeting when he started U.A. He didn’t notice his eventually, that’s like all I know T-T NOT A SHIP

How do I become more happy/optimistic

I’ve always felt a little sad since I was around 13 or 14, but it was never serious. I could still do normal things like brush my teeth, shower, study, and go about my day.

Everything changed around last summer. I spent almost all of my summer break in my room. Even when my family went on vacation, I didn’t enjoy it. I just wanted to be on my phone because it felt comforting and an escape , and going outside felt like a chore.

When school started again, it felt like something completely changed inside me. Since then, I’ve struggled to do basic things. Showering, brushing my teeth, and even taking off my makeup feels exhausting. My room became a mess, I started waking up really late, and I stay awake until 4 or 5 a.m. because I either can’t sleep or I just stay on my phone. I started eating a lot more than I used to and have gained around 16 kg. I’m tired all the time.

The biggest problem has been school. I never used to struggle with exams, but now they make me panic. I’ve had multiple panic attacks because I convince myself I’m going to fail, even when I’ve studied. I procrastinate almost everything because starting feels so overwhelming, especially in science subjects. Sometimes I leave all my studying until the last day and end up failing because I couldn’t bring myself to start earlier.

The strange thing is that some of my grades actually improved, but mentally I feel so much worse. Before every exam I cry, panic, and sometimes question everything. I used to be able to study for hours, but now even looking at one page makes me feel overwhelmed.

I’ve also become very pessimistic. At first I thought expecting the worst would stop me from being disappointed, but now I automatically think I’ll fail every exam, do badly on every presentation, and mess everything up. Because I’ve gained weight, I feel embarrassed about how I look. Sometimes I even feel like I don’t deserve to go into clothing stores because I feel so insecure.

I just want to enjoy life again. I want to stop crying over exams, stop having panic attacks, and stop believing I’m the worst person. I want to get out of bed without it feeling impossible, take care of myself again, go for a walk without feeling like it’s impossible or thinking of all the steps I have to do before I can even get out of the house, and believe that I can become healthier instead of thinking I’ll never get better.

Idon’t really feel like I can talk to anyone. I have two friends, but we never hang out outside of school, and they usually only reply if I text first. My parents aren’t bad but they’re already dealing with a lot. My brother has a mental disability and ADHD, and my sister has ADD and is struggling a lot at school. Compared to them, I think my parents see me as the one who’s doing okay because my grades are average, so I don’t feel like I can tell them how much I’m struggling.

Any tips? It would mean a lot

Im confused, what do they mean

I love comments on my fics, but this one kind of confuses me?? I’m not really sure how to respond and what they really mean by this comment. I do understand that it’s a positive comment but I’m not really sure how to go on about it.
