How can I isolate the background noise in a drum stem, and remove the drums?

There's this perfect sample I want to use,

but when I split the stems in Logic,

it's "buried behind" (aka included in) the drums stem.

How can remove the drums and keep the sound I'm trying to isolate?

I've already tried "Stem Splitter" on just the drum track.
Didn't work.

I'm looking for as close to Soundboard quality audio as possible.

But the highest quality that you know of is still very appreciated.

If it's got video too great.

Before the show started for about 20 or 30 minutes they would point a light at a specific section of the audience and play a very strange sound and that section of the audience would cheer. This went on for what seemed like a really really long time. They must have hit my section like seven times.

What was that?
