This is the mentality The Game is supposed to have. Jeremiah Smith gets it.

Michigan’s coach was just talking about how he doesn’t understand why “hating” Ohio State would give them a better chance to win.

Then you have Jeremiah Smith on The Triple Option: “I hate Michigan with everything in me.”

Give me Jeremiah’s mentality every single time.

Ohio State doesn’t cross out every M on campus, put countdown clocks in the Woody and spend 365 days hearing about The Game just to treat Michigan like another opponent. Obviously it’s football hate, but that hatred and intensity is part of what makes this rivalry what it is.

Feels like one side understands that a little more right now.

Anyone else absolutely LOVE hearing this from Jeremiah?

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

My introduction to Final Fantasy was this gem on Gamecube... Can't believe Nintendo butchered the remaster by forcing anyone who wants to play to by a copy rather than allow for multiplayer locally.... kinda like how they forced you to have a gameboy to play locally on the Gamecube...

Does Nintendo want us to hate them?

Mid 2000s FPS with many factions

I went over to a friends house when I was in middle school (2003-2006) and he showed me a game I think on xbox that I'm pretty sure was an open world FPS where you could interact and have different "relationship" with different factions. I remember running somewhere and shooting someone and him going "yea, you just messed up my status with that group."

I didn't get to play more than that because I didn't want to screw with his game too much. Been looking for this game for years.

Indoxacarb v Hydramethylnon

Been doing research on these two chemicals for the past few years off and on (former tech that does personal home pest control). I'm having trouble with fire ants and have been successful in the past using indo but had a colony of fire ants that took the bait well but didn't die. Switched to hydra and had some success. Recently having trouble with fire ants again and decided to try the hydra again and the ants took it but nothing is happening. I've waited about 3-4 days, about to just hit the piles with Demand CS.

Wondering if I'm missing something in my research and someone might know more than me. I know the indo tends to create resistance within colonies, which is why I switched to the hydra, but I read it takes longer (somewhere I read it said 2-4 weeks for full effectiveness). Someone with more knowledge on this than me would be helpful.

For reference: I'm following the label with spot treatments, keeping it around the perimeter and not disturbing the colonies. Will leave the bait in the evenings typically, come back and hour later to verify they're taking it. Let me know if you need more deets.

Dunkey needs to bring this type of video series back. Have listened to this on repeat for the past month.

Episode 6: Are U Kidding Me is probably the best one

Countdown to Kickoff

Hello you filthy mongrols.

We have made it through the harsh winter and dull spring of 2026, and yet we continue to suffer through the summer. But lo, college football is on the horizon, just 40 days from kickoff. Importantly, 131 days until The Game. Hockey, baseball and soccer have done little to satiate my appetite for football, but here we are.

I figured now would be a good a time as any for a quick checkup. First, we're on the brink of 5k members. I would take total credit for that, but I will admit the community has done a good job of policing itself for the most part. I still have the image of the wojack cutting his dick off firmly ingrained my brain for all of eternity, thanks for that.

No major changes to speak of just yet. Mods are doing a good job with the off season. Posts should be picking up here in the next few weeks up into November, so we may see more traffic with that. I have some ideas on the back burner, such as participation in the "Blood Battle," but I've been having a hard time finding information on that. I also have no idea how we would even participate in that, but I thought it would be fun regardless.

As always, if you have any ideas for the sub, feel free to reach out.
