Hi everyone! I’m looking for some good examples of social media manager portfolios/websites to get some inspiration from. I have a degree and experience managing social media, and I’m interested in starting to freelance.
If you have a website/portfolio you really like (your own or someone else’s), I’d love to see it!
I’m also curious about what you freelancers typically include on your websites. For example:
I know that’s kind of a lot of questions... I’m just trying to figure out how the freelance side of things actually works before I jump into it.
If anyone has recommendations for good resources I would appreciate that too :)
I hate how my pictures always end up like this. However, I’m not adjusting any settings before I take a picture… honestly idk what to even change.
The photos in this group are incredible and I want to learn how to take photos like that! Any advice helps!
Edit: NO I didn’t edit these… my phone was in default settings. It just automatically adjusts to light and I HATE how it does that and that is why I am asking a question here. I don’t know how to make it stop.
I’m from northern MI and will be stopping here next week. We have NOTHING up here besides Victoria’s Secret I swear… does anyone know of places that can give a proper fitting? I know of the directory website from the Reddit group but there are only a few in there so just wondering if there are others!
Not sure if this would be the right group but please redirect me if it is not!
My teenage sister bought these and has pretty much abandoned them and they live in this fish bowl. It makes me so sad but I can’t afford to get them a proper setup. They’ve been here for about a year and seem to be doing fine (for being in a fish bowl…)
I just want them to go to someone who will properly take care of them. I think they’re goldfish???
I swear to god it’s just milk. Maybe they didn’t steep the tea long enough? Or am I dramatic 😂 tastes like milk. I’ve never had it this light before
Edit: I went in with the drink and asked for a credit or refund or something and she said, “did you just not like it?” …
He’s got a show in San Fran on the 15th, do you think he’ll show up for a day?
I love his new album and I think it deserves some more love
I have been looking at other posts on here and I’m not finding anything similar to my experience right now so I figured I’d make my own post.
I’ve been on Auvelity for maybe 2.5 years now and it’s the only antidepressant that has ever worked and made me feel semi normal. I used to take Vyvance for ADHD (without the hyperactivity) and it didn’t really do anything other than give me really bad dry mouth the higher dosage I went. I have tried concerta and another non stimulant in the past that apparently didn’t work but I really don’t remember, and I didn’t try these meds while also taking Auvelity.
I started adderall XR 20mg a couple months ago. It felt fine for the first several weeks. But the past few weeks I’ve noticed a lot more irritability and bad thoughts in my head, almost like the Auvelity isn’t working well. I kind of feel like I’m going crazy.
Has this happened to anyone? I am afraid to stop taking adderall just because it seems like it helps me so much…
I also only take Auvelity once every morning (as prescribed). I never felt like I needed two a day, but I guess I could try that?
I’ve never been formally diagnosed, but I’m pretty sure I struggle with binge eating, especially when I’m stressed or depressed. I’ve been working on it, and this group has honestly helped me a lot.
One thing I still can’t figure out is how to get to a point where I can keep “fun” foods in the house without eating them all within a couple of days, or sometimes even the same day. Because of that, I just don’t buy things like Chips Ahoy, Cosmic Brownies, or salt and vinegar chips…
I know avoiding those foods works for now, but I’d really like to get to a place where I can enjoy treats in moderation instead of feeling like I have to avoid them completely.
Has anyone gotten to that point? If so, what actually helped? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you.
This is my absolute favorite mascara of all time. I suck at taking off my makeup before bed but this comes off so quickly if I need it to. But it’s over $20 and I wear it like every day.
I’m looking for something similar that’s cheaper if possible. It gives me a pretty dramatic full lash look as well. Even though it’s not waterproof, it doesn’t really smudge much or come off throughout the day. But maybe that’s what I’m paying for? Lol
I’m looking to restore this vintage patio chair set and was wondering where I could find fabric similar to this, or really any fun retro/patterned fabric that would work for outdoor furniture.
The original upholstery is in pretty rough shape now (torn, faded, etc.), but I’d love to get it looking something like it did originally. I think the material is some kind of faux leather or vinyl, but I’m not completely sure.
This is my first time doing an upholstery project, so I have a couple questions:
- Where do you buy good-quality patterned vinyl or outdoor upholstery fabric?
- Is there anywhere that sells retro floral prints like this?
- The cushions are probably around 50 years old and have been exposed to the weather for years. They actually still seem pretty solid though, would it be okay to just recover them, or should I replace the foam while I have everything apart?
Any tips or advice for a beginner would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I apologize if I used the wrong flair. please let me know if I should change it.
I’m trying to figure out my actual bra size because I’m pretty confused.
I’ve pretty much only ever worn Victoria’s Secret bras. They used to fit me really well until I lost weight. The last time I went in (before I found this subreddit), they measured me as either a 34D or 34DD. That immediately didn’t seem right, and when I tried those sizes on, the cups were way too big. My usual 34C fit okay, so I ended up sticking with that.
I was looking for a smooth everyday T-shirt bra that wouldn’t show lines under clothes. They didn’t have many non-push-up options in my price range. I tried one of their wireless T-shirt bras, but it felt strange because there was a gap in the center between my chest and the bra. I usually wear underwire because I like the support better.
After finding this subreddit, I used the calculator. The first time (I did it while sitting), it gave me a 34D/34DD (US/Canada). I redid all the measurements while standing, and it gave me a 34DDD. I know I’ve only really tried Victoria’s Secret bras, but it’s hard for me to believe that’s actually my size because the D and DD bras I tried there felt so big.
Some other details that might help:
- My breasts don’t seem very large unless I’m wearing a bra. I thought that they got the larger cup size from how far my breasts stick out and the width of my chest, because while my boobs are smaller they’re wider apart.
- They’re about 2 inches apart, so I don’t naturally have much cleavage.
- From what I’ve read, they seem fairly even.
- I don’t think they’re shallow or projected.
- I also tried reading about roots, but I just can’t seem to understand that part yet.
I’d really appreciate any help figuring out where to start. I especially struggle with strapless bras because they never seem to fit correctly, but right now I’m mainly looking for a comfortable everyday bra that’s smooth under T-shirts and actually fits.
If I left out any important information, please let me know and I’ll add it. Thanks!
Also my measurements:
Loose underbust - 34
Snug underbust - 33
Tight underbust - 32
Standing bust - 38
Leaning bust - 40
Lying bust - 38
This was so fun. If you’re debating on going, do it. I went alone and had a blast 🤩
Im lowkey freaking out because this is what happens when I click on my tickets. Is it just me?
