Cis guy who felt dysphoria for the first time in three years, help!

For some background:

I’m a cis male who, from a time between 2020 and 2023, believed himself to be a transgender woman. During this period I explored my gender, adopted a new name in my head, and even came out to several people with the intent of medically transitioning eventually.

In 2023, however, around the time that I entered into a relationship with a girl for the first time, I realized that I didn’t really believe myself to be trans, and that I was using the identity as a way of explaining my other issues. It felt like a tremendous load had been taken off my back, and I have been a mostly happy and healthy bisexual male and trans ally since. Until this week.

For the first time in at least three years, at the trigger of a webcomic I was reading, I am imagining being a woman again. This is really terrifying and confusing for me since I had essentially left all of that behind, and I hate the idea of complicating my life with it again.

If anyone has any advice or help they could offer, it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m a bi dude, but I feel uncomfortable with the idea of anal

Bisexual man here, have known I’m bi for about 6 years now but have never had experience with men due to being relatively young and not living in a place with a lot of MLM people.

I know that I am both romantically and sexually attracted to men, but I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea of anal sex, both with men and women. I find watching gay pornography difficult because of the extreme emphasis on anal, and likewise do not engage with any straight porn that has it either.

I really want to step out of my shell a little and begin experiencing relations with men, but I’m terrified of the idea of anal, and by extension having to explain to a ‘real’ MLM dude my discomfort with it.

This problem is contributing to a lot of internalized biphobia for me, as I sometimes feel as if I’m just ‘faking’ an attraction to men because of my discomfort, or that I’m just merely confused.

Any advice?

EDIT: Thanks so much for the replies and support! I had never heard of a “side” until now so I’m glad there’s a term for us lmao, hopefully this helps with the internalized biphobia a bit 🫠

Make Your Voice Heard: Letter of Complaint Example

Hey fellow fans, if you’re concerned about the homophobic content allowed by Giants organization last night, make your voice heard!
The Giants’ customer service email is customerservice@sfgiants.com.
Below is the email I have drafted and sent opposing the events that occurred last night and promising a lack of financial support until something is fixed. Feel free to copy mine with your name or to write one of your own.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to inform you of my displeasure with the actions allowed by the San Francisco Giants’ organizational management throughout last night’s (4/12/26) game. Throughout the game and the stadium’s accompanying ‘Pride Night’ event, several members of staff employed by the team (pitchers Landen Roupp, J.T. Brubaker, and Ryan Walker) were permitted to protest the Pride Night celebrations by inscribing Bible verses protesting the use of the rainbow as a symbol of the LGBTQ+ community on their baseball hats.

As a Bay Area local, Giants fan, and member of the very community that Pride Night is intended to market towards, I was shocked and offended by the organization’s permittance of this protest, and even more so by pitcher Landen Roupp’s later comments encouraging the LGBTQ+ community to read the Bible, which is known to include verses that describe homosexuality as sinful and encourage punishment toward homosexual persons.

While I acknowledge every individual’s right to their own opinions and free speech, for the Giants organization to allow such remarks without question at the very event that they organized to celebrate (and earn significant Pride-related income from) the LGBTQ+ community is deeply antithetical to the culture of San Francisco, and the larger ideals of tolerance and togetherness that Pride is intended to embody.

For this reason, I will be withholding from future expenditures related to the San Francisco Giants organization (tickets, merchandise, etc.) until I feel as if the organization has returned to being a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I will be encouraging others in my community to do the same.

Respectfully,
(YOUR NAME)

Citypop/Japanese fusion music for sale in the city?

Hit a lot of the major record spots in the city but can’t seem to find a store that consistently stocks Japanese fusion and citypop (CASIOPEA, Suzuki, Yamashita, Takanaka, etc). I’m open to both CD and vinyl, just anywhere I don’t have to order online. Anybody have any tips/recommendations?

I look at sports items and jerseys from time to time, and now my Suggested page is nothing but basketball jerseys, and has been for several months. I want to see actual clothes again and was wondering if there is any way to force my algorithm to change?
