Anyone else's Dad of their child never asks questions about the child?
Doesn't ask about nursery, having extra time with her during holiday time.
I am (was) always updating him and asking if he can/wants extra time during the holidays (mainly because I have to work)
I tried talking to my daughters Dad a while ago (April time) about this. How I am always feeding him information about her and he never asks. How i do all the communicating. This conversation didn't go well. He started laughing in my face. I explained that I'm trying to have a serious conversation and he continued laughing. Which resulted in me pushing him and him throwing his drink in my face.
I then said I am no longer feeding him information about our daughter. If he wants to know something he needs to ask.
She is now starting primary school in Septemeber. He hasn't asked a single question about it. Therefore he's missed out on the welcome parents evening, induction days. If he at any point asked, I would of told him about the above but he hasn't, so I've kept my mouth shut.
It has been the summer holidays the past 3 weeks now.
Some people have said I'm making myself suffer as I will be missing hours of work by not asking him to have her. But I can make it work.
But I'm so done with his bullshit showmanship of being a great Dad infront of people.
If he really cared for our daughter he would show an interest in when shes starting school. Asking to have her for extra days in the summer holidays
I'm not stopping him from seeing her. I still drop her off on his allocated days.
This is just a bit of a rant.
But wanted to see if anyone else goes/has been through this.
And confirm I'm not being a dick?
I really need to install some blacked out curtains in my daughters bedroom. This is how light her bedroom is at 8pm.
Unsure where to install them?
The whole wall length?
Or the inner?
I’ve beaten vicar Amelia, been to forbidden woods and defeated shadows of yarnham, got the password for the door at the bottom of the stairs. I’m just a bit lost now as to where to go.
I killed djura as I forgot he could become a friend…Google isn’t helping. I think I need to head to upper cathedral ward but having trouble figuring out how to get there, or knowing if that’s even my next destination’
Partner advised me when we first started dating that he had a history of addictive drug use with valium
I accepted that this was a part of his past and said he no longer wants to head down that road as it has destroyed a previous relationship.
I trusted what he said
I have caught him lieing 3 times now.
He had taken ketamine one evening when we were together (secretly). I noticed and he lied to my face that he had not. We had a discussion about his lieing and that I do not want him hiding his drug use from me again.
Months later, again caught him in a lie.
And months later again.
Have explained that the constantly the lieing is not acceptable and that trust is huge in a relationship.
He is a good guy, I don't want to end the relationship.
The lieing just leads me to think, what else is he lieing about.
I don't want to lose that trust but I unfortunately it has been effected.
Has anyone been in the same situation, what's your advice?
TL;DR partner lieing about drug use, don't want to leave him. Need advice
He can leave the country for 3 weeks without telling me and with no stress of parental responsibility.
But I am going to a festival for 5 days and I am riddled with anxiety. Having to ensure he knows ever detail of nursery times, details of swimming lessons.
He hasn't had the responsibility of taking her or picking her up from nursery for the past two years as he showed up smelling of weed at the nursery.
What do I do?
Trust that he will be responsible or just allow him to never be a responsible co parent

I don't see my mum a often
My child is at my mums 1 day a week. My mum is very caring towards my child (totally different from my experience from my mum) but I'm happy that my child has this positive relationship with her.
But when I go to pick her up after work and we stay for dinner. My mum constantly tries and takes my daughters attention away from me.
I don't challenge my mum because it always turns into her being vicicous towards me.
How does everyone else, as a mother themselves, deal with their narcissistic mother around their children?
I may be being really stupid here. How am I suppose to get this kick board off when there is a tab stopping me to do so?
Can I just unscrew it?
