The last pass

The last pass

This might be the last past this tractor makes over my farm before she goes off to her new owner!

Retro scope question

Wondering if anyone knows where to get a picatinny scope cradle for the colt/brownells carry handle scope? I like the cradle over trying to mount into scope rings and I don’t want to have a 2 piece mount using the second picture. I would like to find one already built without buying pieces and taking to a machine shop/ gunsmith or trying to build myself out of an acog mount or similar!

Time to clean some glass!

Down to the last 35 acres to roll, then hopefully Deere will have my clutch cable in to fix my 4x4 then run a pass over everything with the undercutter

Early morning photo break

Baled all night and although the dew didn’t actually fall my moisture jumped too high right before sunup. Gave me a chance to run and grab breakfast and weld my cracked door frame around the striker… gosh this ol girl sure is nice to look at!

Welcome to hay baling on the plains in July only time there’s enough moisture is between midnight and 8 AM!

No change in ground texture on ruined crop

It shows that it’s growing but the ground texture where I accidentally drove through my crop is unchanged. What are the odds it’s growing or needs cultivated next year?

ISO 4x or larger map with authentic looking fields

I’m not asking someone to make a mod map or anything similar to that. I’m looking for an already existing, even if I have to purchase it, MOD map where the fields and roads are laid out in a grid. I haven’t spent any time at all on Kansas 16x map because field sizes of 3200 acres do not make sense when they are rectangular and all over the place and I would like to not have to make a bunch of roads and reshape the field to make the map look realistic. The photo is representing of what I want 640 acres is the largest possible field in one location unless the road is missing most fields are between 80 and 160 acres with very few between 20 and 40 acres.

Working the ol girl hard

Couldn’t think of a better place to post photos of my pushing 35-40 year-old tractor. The 4760 still puts in the long days and is my preferred tractor unless the implement requires more horsepower or traction.
