Just a little additional information:

I'm currently 6 weeks

I have not seen an actual physician in several years. All of my annual exams and paps have been with the APRN that is at the office I've been going to for 10 years; My gynecologist switched from general gynecology to being an endometriosis specialist about 6 years ago, so I haven't seen her since then.

The office wants me to see a physician for my prenatal care, not just an APRN, since I'm considered high risk. But the office doesn't have a permanent physician right now they're in the process of hiring one. They said they're anticipating having someone permanent in August.

This is my first pregnancy and because I'm high risk I'm just really worried and want to make sure that this pregnancy is viable and that I haven't had a silent miscarriage or anything.

So I guess I'm just asking if planned Parenthood will do that one scan ultrasound for me? My husband has been trying to calm me down and ease my anxiety but I don't think anything will.

I am only 5 weeks, but I'm already having a very hard time sleeping. I couldn't fall asleep until like 2-something last night and just woke up at 8 because I can't sleep through my husband's alarm or fall asleep again after.

I'm really worried but I've read melatonin isn't the best during pregnancy, and I don't know about prescription sleep medications with my Lamictal.

Any advice? Lack of sleep is a big trigger for me so I'm scared...

Edit: I did specify in my post that he does not get much time off and we need to pick. Please stop saying both. It's not an option.

First pregnancy, I don't know anything lol my husband does not get much time off of work so he has to pick one and we wanted to know if it would be best for him to go to the 9wk scan (they couldn't get me in soon enough for it to be an 8wk scan) or the 14 wk scan in a couple months?

He's thinking 14 wk scan because the baby will be bigger, we'll hear a super clear heartbeat, etc. but I wanted to see what you all think.

My husband and I are making homemade pizza tonight and he likes buffalo chicken pizza. We've never made it ourselves, so what's the a good buffalo chicken dip recipe for a homemade personal pizza? I've seen so many different ones...

Quick edit: since some people struggle to read a whole post--I'm looking for work clothes; professional clothes. Workwear. I need full length tops. Of course I can find regular t shirts and stuff that are fine. But I need to dress a certain way for work. DoNt ShOp In ThE tEeN sEcTiOn y'all I haven't picked up an item of clothing from the teen section since I was 16.

Stupid thing to vent about. But I'm a grown ass woman, can I please get some fucking shirts that aren't crop tops? Not even necessarily short ones, but ones that barely go past the belly button.

I'm a teacher, and I struggle to find shirts that are long enough. Even if they're long enough to slightly overlap the top of my pants, I'm sitting down, reaching up, and bending over constantly. Wearing an undershirt just looks weird, and I'm just so sick of it. I used to get work clothes at a store whose target audience is "professional" women, like business/business casual wear type stuff, and they have mostly crop tops now.

Stupid vent, but I'm so tired of it.

More specifically--having a birthday close to the "cut off" between two signs and feeling more like the other one.

I was born November 24th, so I am a Sagittarius. However, my personality is far closer to traits typically used to describe a Scorpio. Is this a thing? Why would this be?

My family, aunts, uncles, cousins, cousins' kids, 2or 3 times a month. We always have dinner for someone's birthday, plus normal holidays, so it's a lot.

I hate it.

I have a good relationship with everyone in my family. I love my cousins, we all act like siblings. But it is so exhausting to have something almost every weekend. My social battery is quite small. I'm a teacher, I don't go more than 5 minutes in a day without someone talking my fucking ear off or being the one talking to a group.

So when it's finally Saturday, I absolutely do not want to go to a fucking party. I'm sorry, I love you, but it's so unnecessary.

If I ever said this to my family, especially my mom, I'd be crucified. But I am just so sick of it, I don't have the social battery for it.
