Newly discovered sofubi, looking for affordable options to start a collection
I’ve been collecting different types of figures for a while, but recently got way more into Kaiju figures which let me to discovering sofubi which I hadn’t known about prior and I absolutely love everything I’ve seen so far. I would love to get a few to start collecting them, but from what I’ve seen even smaller figures are very expensive. Is this just the nature of sofubi? What are some more accessible and entry level options? Thanks!
Tips for picking up Ryu?
I have always loved Ryu as a character. He is by far my favorite street fighter character, but I’ve never had much luck with him or shotos in general. I have committed to learning Ryu, what are some good tips to succeed with him. What should I focus on learning? What are some good bnb combos and good combo routes? What is your Ryu game plan?
Just bought the game, queued ranked, 3 matches, 3 rage quits
Heard about the rage quit issue, didn’t realize how truly massive it would be. Just got the game, queued into ranked, played 3 matches and each one ended in a rage quit. I don’t even know how to play really, let alone use cheese mechanics or bs. Just basic fair and square wins 🤣 why are people doing this? Is there no penalty?
How can I learn to confirm/convert hits to combos in this game?
Coming from a Tekken background, I have a very strong string based muscle memory. My fundamentals are pretty strong, but I currently feel stuck mainly due to the fact, I just have a hard time going into combos from a normal. Unless it’s a direct punish or I’m autopiloting the combo behind the first move. I notice that most decent players are able to throw out a normal, see it hit, and follow up with x,y, and z. I have been trying to learn like modular combo “pieces” that I can try to put together in the heat of the moment. But it’s just hard to do on top of mental stack. So unless I’m basically fishing for a specific button into a specific combo, I pretty much leave a bunch of damage on the table by not converting my normals. How can I develop this skill? How can I practice this? Any tips are appreciated thanks!
