I recently bought, from an online piercing store, 2 tapers to insert piercing since I have trouble changing my nipples bars. There were more size available but no "middle" size, so I bought 1.2mm (16g) and 1.6mm (14g). There was nothing smaller, nothing in between.

Today they arrived and they don't connect to piercing. And I'm perplexed because my piercing are also from their site, so I don't know how is it possible. I have tried everything, tried to connect different piercings, tried to to connect the smaller piercing in the bigger taper and it's loose, I'm so lost about how should I be able to use them.

I would love to have them because I have troubles + my mother have some issues in her hand and putting her (lobes) in is difficult for her, but atp I don't even know how should I verify from online stores that they connect

Sorry if this post is a bit vague. A few months ago, I happened to come across a TikTok video by a true crime creator who was talking about this horrifying murder.

It involved a young girl who had spent the night sleeping in a tent in her yard with other children. By the next morning, she had completely disappeared. Her body was later found on a beach by someone walking their dogs. She had been sexually assaulted, beaten, and subjected to extreme violence.

If I remember correctly, the killer was eventually found and identified, and one detail that stood out was that he supposedly had the XYY chromosome pattern.

I also remember that when I tried looking the case up online afterward, I found very little information, almost as if it had been a local case that never became widely known.

If anyone knows which murder case I'm talking about, could you help me identify it or give me the victim's name?

I'll give a bit of background because I think it's necessary. I have a habit of picking at the skin on my lips. Back in December, I damaged my lower lip so badly that it was practically tumefied, and I had to take very careful care of my lips for quite a while. Once it finally healed, which took over a month, I kept using lip balm constantly, applied lip oil before bed, and generally maintained extremely hydrated, healthy lips.

Recently, I went through a difficult breakup after a long-term relationship and haven't really been taking care of myself, so today I forced myself to do my skincare routine. Because of that, this review is based both on my experience with very well-maintained lips and on my experience with dry, chapped lips.

I bought The Ordinary Lip Serum because it was on sale. I didn't buy the gloss because I felt it was overpriced imo. That said, in my experience, this (lip serum) is a product you can use only at night, once a week, so it lasts quite a while and you won't re-buy it every week. If you're looking for something intensely hydrating to use overnight (instead of TO lip balm) so you wake up with incredibly soft lips, I would recommend Sephora's Vanilla Lip Mask, or really anything with a texture somewhere between a lip oil and a gloss.

With that said!

**Product performance:**

On healthy, well-maintained lips, the effect is subtle. Four drops are enough, and it does what it's supposed to do. Since it's highly hydrating, if your lips are already in great condition, you'll definitely feel the product and notice an improvement, but it may be subtle enough to make you wonder if it's just a placebo effect. It isn't. It works wonderfully and, especially if you wear lip tints that tend to be drying, it's a great way to keep your lips plump and hydrated even during stressful periods.

On dry, chapped lips, it's like witnessing a miracle happen in less than 30 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating. It genuinely feels emotional. I think I may have cried a little.

I didn't count the drops this time. I washed my face first, applied a generous but not excessive amount, spread it with my finger, and then kept my lips closed for about 30 minutes without talking or drinking, not even opening them a little. My lips were as dry as the Sahara. The loose skin naturally lifted because it was already there, but now my lips move comfortably without that tight, pulling sensation, and they feel incredibly soft.

**Day or night?**

Yes.

Obviously, treatments tend to work better overnight, but this product works so quickly that I honestly think you can use it in the evening while watching TV, then apply a hydrating lip mask before bed and witness the real magic the next morning.

If you wake up from a nap after sleeping with your mouth open and your lips feel completely dried out, you can absolutely use it during the day. Just remember to apply lip balm afterward so you don't undo the benefits.

**Usage tips:**

I'm the kind of person who sticks to the products I already own, so I can't really recommend many brands or alternatives. A lot of hydration means dead skin will start lifting away from the surface. If you don't want to damage your lips, my advice is to use a sugar scrub (I use lush one) about an hour after application, or whenever you feel the product has mostly worn off. This helps stimulate circulation while also removing the loose skin that you might otherwise be tempted to pull off with your teeth, which only causes more damage.

Immediately afterward, apply a rich, oily lip balm containing ingredients like coconut oil, argan oil, or shea butter. Then, at night, use a lip mask like the one I mentioned earlier.

**Would I recommend it?**

Absolutely.

Especially if you're someone who goes through periods of severe dryness, this product is a lifesaver.

I pulls for favs, not for metas, so usually if I see a regular mf banner that I really like but its not featuring one of my faves I skip it.

I was finally able to get 36k gems (after anni sucked me dry) and boom, the first triple banner. And I obviously gave in, got all the ladies multiple times, and found myself gemless AGAIN.
