When does SDCC typically update you on professional badge applications? Is it a rolling system?
As the image says, I applied on 9/17/2025. Any information would help!

After using Samsung for years and switching back to Motorola recently, I was shocked to see that you could not switch cameras (from front to back) while recording. I did a bit of research and it seems to me that Samsung is the only major phone manufacturer that has this feature. Not Motorola, not Google (Pixel), not Sony, not even Apple.
I went and it was pretty awesome, but I forgot to actually take photos.
For context, I've been looking at phones under $800 that have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14S and Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) came up. I was between the two when I noticed that the Redmi Note 14S has an IP rating of IP64. Does this warrant crossing the Redmi Note 14S off of the list? I mean to
Anyone know the context? It's been going on for like 5 minutes and has no sign of stopping. Wedding, maybe?
EDIT: Appears to be the SeaDogs. Makes sense. Thanks, y'all!
I bought a normal 2DS a couple of years after it came out, and it served me really well. I was way too careless with it, and even dropped it on hard cement a dozen or so times. But then the New 2DS XL came out, and I decided it was time to upgrade. I bought it, cared for it delicately, and right after my year anniversary of owning it it began freezing and giving me the black screen of death. About a month later, it was unresponsive and refused to boot up.
I kid you not, to this VERY DAY, my old beat up 2DS runs nearly flawlessly. I've been told that the whole 3DS lineup has a thing where it refuses to boot unless every single part is intact, which may have something to do with the New 2DS XL not booting, but it is MIND BLOWING to me that the 2DS with nearly a decade of usage (I gave it to a younger family member) is still working, and my New 2DS XL broke in under 18 months of use.
Hey y'all. As the title states, I'm having this odd issue with my GBA where this high pitched noise can be heard when listening with headphones, but the pitch changes when I change the brightness on my Funnyplaying ITA screen.
I have a sneaking suspicion that it could be due to the fact that I forgot to remove the C54 capacitor. Let me know if I just answered my own question there lol.
Also, I didn't actually solder the screen to the motherboard. I'm just using the touch sensor, which is tucked right next to the charging port. And I'm using a USB-C mod, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.
So this is a bit of an odd post/rant. When MAGFEST dropped a couple of hours ago, I listened to it and didn't think much. But the name really stuck out to me.
"Magfest? Isn't that the name of that one convention?"
So I investigated. I listened again, but this time I listened to the lyrics. And it really hit a minefield of old unburried memories from when I was younger. When I was a young teenager, the furry fandom was my escape from the conservative religious world I lived in. My mental health continually declined in middle school (and the first half of highschool), and I would cry in my bed and daydream of going to a convention with some friends. This was of course impossible as my parents were very hostile to the furry community, and making any furry friends (or even going to any meets) was out of the question. My deeply buried homosexuality also definitely made the situation harder to swallow. Sound a little familiar?
In the music video for MAGFEST, Noelle is seen in turmoil in (pressumably her own) bed, saying *"if i can get out of this, ill take myself to magfest"*. She elaborates on her previous mental health struggles, saying *"i started hurting myself, its a problem again... i think its go to magfest or just not live anymore"*. Hearing these specific lines gave me chills. I've heard people use the phrase "not an original experience" before, and I think that's how I felt.
Luckily, I've grown up now, and I've been able to come out, make some likeminded friends, go to a convention, and even get a boyfriend! I'm pretty happy now, and this song gave me a good opportunity to look back and realize uow far I've come. And not to read into it, but it seems like Noelle has also had somewhat of a good ending scenario as well, which I'm happy to hear :)
Anyways that's my little rant, thanks for listening! Thought I should put it out in words. It gets better, y'all!
Every time I think of Superstar Saga, I get this really odd empty lonely feeling. I just can't stop thinking of all of the odd secluded corners of its giant map, and this song always comes to mind https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EjE3Gp0m5MI
I'm having a hard time articulating the specific feeling. Does anyone else feel similarly?
My friends and I weren't able to get any tickets 🥀
I'm looking for 3-4 tickets to buy ideally much below the scalper prices, but even if you have just one that's fine.
Oh yeah and if you sell them to me I can meet up with you at the show and dap you up
