How to discover your passion: A cycle of learning and applying
Whatever you believe your passion is at the moment, start the process of learning and applying. The process will help you better understand your passion and see where adjustments are needed to get closer to it and grow it.
Sometimes adjustments will be small, and other times they will be larger, depending on your growth. If you genuinely believe in your current passion and take action, your adjustments will be minimal. Your passion will evolve into a more specific idea and become bigger as you learn and apply. But you must take action now, even if it is small, and grow from there.
Learning means seeking new knowledge and skills to better understand your passion and how to apply it successfully.
Applying means creating and sharing your passion to help others. You must apply what you have learned. Knowing something is one thing, but applying it is another. Applying your knowledge will dramatically increase your self-understanding and help you determine whether it is your passion.
Once you discover a new way to create and share, you must take immediate action to test it out. Applying is the best way to learn what works and what doesn’t, and get closer to your core passion.
Discovering your passion is a cycle of learning and applying. Once you learn something about your passion, you need to apply it. After applying, continue identifying areas where you can learn and improve. Each time you learn something new, you should apply it again. It becomes an ongoing cycle of learning and applying to grow your passion.
