I have found out that if you are in chapter 3 you can completely skip Chapter 4 and 5 and get to the lower levels of chapter 6 checkpoint 2 this doesn't trigger the ending part of Chapter 4 which breaks the Ascension pillar

I wonder if it is possible to get all the way to the end and not be able to get to ascend because the pillar is not broken

This is quite asinine to do because if you fail once you have to reload, it's a pain because we have to climb up sometimes p doesn't respond because the game likes because it's trying to load and de-load a bunch of stuff so you lose control of her, I found out how to get into checkpoint 2, but I messed up and died shortly after, because it's such a pain to get all the way up here from chapter 3 checkpoint 2, completely skipping Chapter 4 and chapter 5, it is tedious so tedious

On a video by u/Muskrat_5oup I said there was a faster way to get to the boss, and they asked me to provide a video, so here it is, I do need to apologise like I did in the other one I don't have good editing software and I cant record long videos, so I will explain the first part, this is only possible with the infinite war climb, how to do so would be put at the bottom of this text, as well as provided in the other video provided here

When you load in to chapter 2 at the start you will be put in front of a orange door, don't go through it but instead climb up the wall to the right of you that has the pipe sticking out of it, you need to climb up the first wall, then second and the third, to get to where I am in the video, you know you are in the right place because the wall to get back in more have two windows, just copy what I do mostly in the video and it will allow you to skip a massive sections, this is the only place in the game that I have found to actually have true invisible barriers in the boss arena, you do need to reload from what I have tested briefly to get the boss to spawn in

How to do infinite wall climb, Xbox controls are first PlayStation are second.

When you climb up a wall let P clamber up for a bit, when she has stopped and starts to turn around and slide down a bit press X/▢ to get her of the wall, you then can jump back onto the wall with A/X she will repeat the animation.

Don't jump off the wall yourself or else you won't be able to get back on

Chapter 4 overpass checkpoint 3

This was request from u/DontJustSay as they asked me how do I get there along with the infinite wall climb, so Ill explaining it here.

I will also first the path taken up isnt necessary trigger, I just dont have any editing software of any kind nor a one that allows me for long recordings, but just copy what I do near the end with running on the wall and slicing off the wall.

I will give people a heads up dont do this if you are on your first playthrough because if you get in there you will be stuck you have to get out via checkpoint.

If you want to get up to P as you see in my video when I am climbing behind The wall looks at her hands touching the ledge above her head once she does that sword slash backwards and then jump forwards.

Onto how to actually do the infinite wall climb, this can also be used to descend lethal zones safely.

Sadly I dont know what the controls are for PC so I can only do Xbox and PlayStation, Xbox controls would be first then PlayStation, these are the default game controls, if people have custom or if they add changes later

Go up to a wall and jump with A/X you should see P climb up the wall a bit, wait for her to finish climbing and then press X/▢ to sword slash and hold down on the LS, this will get her off the wall, press A/X again while holding up on LS, to put her back on the wall and repeat, don't jump off the wall yourself or you won't be able to reinitialize

Once you have got this pattern down you can change up the timing

In order to get to where I did in the video standing next to the title screen P, look at the hands when she's climbing the wall you'll see that she puts it above her head once she's done that you need to sort slash off and then jump forward to try to get on it is a bit finicky

I was asked to show how this skip was done so here it is, how to skip Elder

It is deep underground not quite sure where but there are a few pipes that I can see going in diagonally and a bunch of pillars sticking into the ground along with a few black squares

It is possible to get up to title screen P by going behind and doing the infinite war climb with sword slice, is a bit finicky because there is a tiny little ledge that sticks out but it is easy enough to overcome

Title screen P barely acknowledges you is barely interactable apart from a few physics objects like our goggles, you can walk straight through her you can't hurt her but she will blush if you zoom in with orbire

There's a method that lets you infinite war climb, this trivialises most of the other skips that I found which are slightly harder because they can all be quickly skipped with this new method, some of them more of a pain than others.

You simply wall climb pull your LS back down press X or ◼️ the up on LS A along A or X to jump at the wall (don't know PC) just repeat to infinitely climb, this technique can also be used to safely climb down big obstacles

I have successfully managed to circumnavigate every boss.

This means that a bunch of categories are now possible

The train is the only one I have yet to figure out how to get to the top without it self dying

Because of these categories I will have to say that once you progress a certain distance the game would automatically assume they are dead they don't stay in, so if you haven't killed them yourself or use environmental hazards to kill them it doesn't count, but just in case people want a way to try to get around the train without it dying until you go into the next load zone I don't know away

- Least amount of enemy kills

- No enemy kills

- No Boss is hurt

- Least amount of Boss kills

- No Boss kills

I'll just have to say this one is a pain, not only do you have to walk them into a location where it can be made easier, the thing that you have to climb up is extremely finicky, and if you dont do it quick enough they will unalign and you won't be close enough to make the gap

If you want to know why the music or the HP bar is not playing because I used a shortcut to just get to the boss

How to skip to the boss

Because I cannot post videos and pictures at the same time, Im putting it here as well as a bit of an update.

When it comes to the hypothetical skip locations I still havent managed to do any of them, so they are still hypothetical and if they can be pulled off they will be much faster than the current method.

The current method that I have found is still slow, very slow, and would only be good for some speedrun categories, I have said what they are in the second hyperlink but I will just say them here as well.

If such categories were to exist in the future, it would be good for people to know it can be done, these are the speedrun categories on thinking of.

- Least amount of boss kills (a few of them cant be skipped right now)

- No boss kills, If people can find ways to skip the others without chapter skipping

- Least amount of enemies killed

- No enemy killed

It will be good for the speedrunning community to know that this is an option.

At some point I will get around to show how this skip is done unless I see someone beat me to it, I still hope someone is able to find a other method using my hypotheticals, or finds a new location altogether

I will say this first and foremost, it is literally faster to kill the boss, this method is only useful and beneficial if such speed run categories will exist in the future that will be no boss kills, least amount of boss kills, least enemies kills, lease deaths and no deaths, I'm only posting it here showing that it can be done it is 100% possible to skip this boss.

Just going to put it here with all the ones I have managed to skip

- Chapter 1 Boss (Truck)

- Chapter 3 Boss (Robot)

- Chapter 6 Boss (Plow)

- Chapter 7 Boss (Excavator)

- chapter 8 Boss (Train)

I still do not think it is possible to skip

- Chapter 2 Boss (Helicopter)

- Chapter 4 Boss (Crane)

- Chapter 5 Boss (Digger)

Right now all of these locations are hypothetical, I don't know if it is possible to do it, and with how finicky the controls are in general I don't know if it is possible, but I'm still going to share all the locations where I think it is still possible, every single one of these methods will involve you having to wall run into wall climb into wall run respectively, as some of them are really precise

The first picture is just to show you how to get to the second picture

Climb up the wall with the chainsaw present in the first picture to get on top of the location and the second, all of the other locations are on the exact same building that the boss is near, although they all require such a finicky wall jump wall run technique, but I haven't successfully done it I'm just posting these locations here in case someone wants to try to attempt it good luck

I have found another location but I'm testing that first before I post it

I've posted a few times with the areas where it is possible to skip to the boss, and near it that is a location you could climb up but it's still finicky, this is the closest and the easiest location I've got to as of this moment, there are two other climbing locations on this very wall structure to the right, don't have the pictures but one of them is close to the multi pillars and the other one is close to the hanging support concrete slab, but those are just maybe, along with one near the boss

I'm just going to put this here at the top, it would literally be faster to kill the boss at this point, it's only being put here to show that it can be done, in case people want to do runs with least boss kills.

I saw there was a skip in the demo, don't know who originally found it I just know that it was there, where you would wall climb off the fence and the wall close to the barrier that prevents you from going further, in my one it is extended so you can't get on top the fence and sword slash around it, at least it didn't work for me, how I got this one done was by getting on top of them, waiting for the scoop bucket to go high and then swords slashing to the wall with the holes in it getting in one of them, being able to stand on top, this one was so unreliable and unpredictable in which way the boss will go that I didn't really have a recording, but I found out how to make his scoop go up and down when I want at least for me you should see a line in the bucket going across if you jump and sword slash it will activate, at the highest point I just run and sword slash to the gap

This is reference for the location, after loading in to checkpoint 3 and turning around through the door there are pillars the side of you to the left head to them, go to the fifth and six pillar, and wall climb between them, once you got enough height jump off the fifth one, use the sword slash to get on top of the fence to the left or the ground, this will allow you to walk over get on top of the boss, the video is to show it can be done, you need to backtrack and get the leg

This can be done after you have triggered his movement but it's harder you have to land on the canister on his leg then sword slash round to land on the steps

I just wanted to test to see if he can be defeated without cutting his leg because the only way to get to the top of him is to slice his leg as far as I know, so I was thinking if there was a trigger that would detect it as being completed but there wasn't

In chapter 7, you can skip almost the entire thing by jumping over the fence, this allows you to skip everything including the boss

Start from checkpoint 2, immediately behind you you should have a golden crane, climb up the crane to the top, below you you should have a fence, land on the fence and follow it all the way to the right, I land in the bottom right corner just because there is more contact area, falling in will trap you inside, follow the fence all the way around and you will skip a lot of chapter 2, putting you just over the starting point of chapter 3 without needing to climb the tower
