The US LRG release is not affected.

Hi all, I bought a secondhand PS4 recently with 12.50 firmware on it. Did the Vue system backup method which wiped all the old users (was going to do this anyway), installed a few games and everything was going well.

I decided to upgrade the HDD with an SSD, did the backup, changed drive, reinstalled the same recovery FW and restored the data.

The jailbreak won't work now, comes up with errors everytime.

What did I do wrong? I assume the jailbreak/Goldhen files didn't back up properly. Is this easily fixed or am I better just to redo the Vue backup like I did originally and then reinstall my games. Not fussed about save files as I've only had the console a week. Thanks in advance.

I suspect this has been covered before but just in case, I bought a used PS4 slim and pulled it apart today to give it a thorough cleaning. Of all the teardowns I watched, none of them mentioned how easy it is to lose this little mount thing that sits on the heatsink.

I got everything apart, cleaned and started reassembly. I noticed a certain black screw just fell into the hole and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was going on as there was definitely in that position before. It was only when I checked out another teardown video that I noticed this tiny piece.

I took most of the parts outside to clean off so thought it could be anywhere. I eventually found it on the floor next to my desk, phew.

I have a bluray burner in my PC and was just thinking, if I had a handful of PKG files, is it possible to burn these (either singly or multiple) to a disc, pop it in the PS4 and install from there?

Basically like a normal retail disc, or is FTPing or using something like Gamebato the only way?

I have one of these bought from Aliexpress to use with my joystick removal tool, I went to use it today and it was dead, getting open circuit error on my Geeboon TC22. Other tips work fine. I tested the resistance and there is an OC betwen the main body and centre contact, so I guess it's dead.

I don't expect the quality to be crash hot, but I expected it to last longer than it has, only used it to change maybe half a dozen sticks in the few months I've had it.

I also have a T12 heating tip (which is what the tool came with) so stuck that in my T12 handle so I could get the job done. My next question, is it worth buying anothing C245 tip (like the first picture) or is the joystick tool too much for it? I would like to stick with C245 as it saves me changing the whole handle but I won't bother if the tip is just going to die again...

I managed to pick up a PS4 slim off marketplace for dirt cheap as the woman just wanted to get rid of it. Took a gamble, seems it hasn't been used for a long time (2yrs), turned it on, works fine and has 12.50 FW on it. AFAIK this is exploitable. I just want to have a bit of fun mucking around with it and see what I can do.

I haven't really been following the scene so have no idea what's out there, TIA. :-)

Hey all, I have an x3400h running a 5.1.2 setup. It works well but I checked out the new x3900h and x2900h to see what my options were if I ever decided to upgrade.

One of the main things I want to have is a 12v trigger output to turn on/off my sub. The x3900h has one but it may be a little overkill for what I need plus it's like $1000 more than what I paid for my x3400h.

The x2900h would be more suited but when comparing specs, etc I noticed the US version has a trigger but the UK/AUS version doesn't for some reason... Anyone know why they would do something like this?

btw, I'm from Australia.

I finally beat Eigong (again) tonight and got the true ending. What a rush! I have to admit, I love the 2nd phase the most, if you get a good combo going, you can get in 5-6 hits without even touching the ground. By the time I beat her, I had spent so many hours practicing it was almost like I was on autopilot, nailing every attack one after another. So good.

Anyway, I want to get the platinum trophy and missed four during my initial playthrough (Robo Fight, What have you done, Repurposed & Fight Dirty). AFAIK, I have to play through most of the game again to unlock them. How long do you think it'll take me on Story mode, with 1000% attack & 1% damage?

I took a small break cause I was sick and finally beat her tonight. Only issue is I only got the normal ending so I want to fix things, fight her again and get the true ending. I think the only thing I missed was getting the poison dude (forget his name) to be Shaman which I've since completed.

Another thing, how do I access the last terminal (to get the Treasure Hunter trophy) on the left before tapping into Eigong's dream thing?

I got up to the final boss the other day, then came down with a cold (runny nose, nasal congestion, etc). I really want to finish the game and move on but was having a hell of a time reacting and basically I was playing very badly. I put it down to the illness affecting my reaction timing.

So now I have to wait till I get over the cold before I can play this game again. Other more casual games I have no problem with just one's that require quick reactions.

Anyone else the same? Good thing is it usually only takes me a week to get over it.

We haven't gone to the local cinema for years as it's just too expensive (and lack of decent movie releases) but my boys wanted to see the new Mandalorian movie so I decided to take them. First off the tickets seemed to have gone up like 50% since last time I looked but I was able to get a special session cheaper. All good.

Then there's the food, I should've smuggled something in. I can go without eating anything for 2hrs, but my kids wanted popcorn and a drink each. It nearly cost as much as the tickets!

After I got over that shock, we got our seats and the movie started. I must've forgotten what it was like but I was not impressed with the PQ. Unless they had the projector calibrated wrong, the whole image was grey and washed out, like trying to watch a low end LCD TV. Maybe I'm just spoilt by my OLED at home, lol.

I just wanted to get this off my chest, I think it'll be many more years until we go again. At least the movie itself was ok and my boys had a good time, which is the important thing.

I want to get VF5 on PS4 which is on sale for $88, plus I also have a $5 in reward points bringing it down to $83 CAD.

I have no idea why this game is so expensive. Did anyone else grab a copy? I want to get it but still feel my money could be better spent somewhere else.
