I am in Switzerland for a month-long vacation but it is so damn hot that it is so depressing. I don't feel like going outside and there is no A/C or fan where I am staying.

I have an upcoming flight from Toronto to Zurich on Icelandair with a 1-hour layover at KEF. It’s on a single ticket and I only have carry-on bags.

I know I have to pass through Schengen border control at KEF, but I'm worried about the new EES system causing delays at passport control.

Is 1 hour enough to make the connection under the current situation?

Also, does Icelandair hold flights for connecting passengers, or will they just rebook me on the next flight if I miss it due to long lines?

Any recent experiences would be greatly appreciated!
