So why do some people that are Non Chabad try and gas light other people into thinking that the משיחטסטים are not dominate within Chabad when in reality it is?

So even today with the rise of the internet, social media where you have content galore that shows mesiancism within Chabad. You still have Non Chabad people still being apologetic and claiming that Chabad mesiancism is merely fringe, and not mainstream. When in fact majority of Chabadnikim believe that the LR was or is Messiah.

Why? As when one can easily just refute the claim ?

Non Orthodox converts : Why do some Reform/Conservative converts get upset if a Noachide does not recognise their conversion?

So whilst a Noachide is non Jewish their religion or affiliate religion is Judaism so that means aligning themselves with Orthodoxy and believing in it ; which means that uphold Halacha or the belief that it is binding at all times. This means that they will accept only Orthodox conversions.

This leaves some Reform/Conservative converts upset as here is a non Jew telling them their conversion is invalid due to their beliefs. However why get upset as they are only going by what Orthodox judaism the religion they align to tells them. It's like getting upset that a Catholic says Abortion is immoral. Well they are just echoing what their faith tells them . So too with Noachides.

So why get upset if a Noachide says that a Reform conversion is invalid when they are just going by their religion or religious beliefs ?

Regarding Noachides and aspiring converts and Oral Torah is there any point in trying to prohibit them from reading Oral Torah texts such as the Talmud as when within nornative Judaism, rabbinic texts are quoted/mentioned extensively

So basically Noachidism which is what some born Jews use to gatekeep aspiring converts. Of course the concept is valid but was never intended by the talmuidic rabbis as some sort of anti convert gatekeeping tool is pretty much Judaism well of course it's a Jewish concept. Aspiring converts who cave in and decide to remain a Noahide find themselves now being told well you see the Talmud , you cannot as a non Jew even glance at it, but you must adhere to normative Judaism belief wise which the Talmud is an authoritative text

So the righteous non Jew tries his best with the texts given at his disposal that he is told he can read . So he is told he can read Chumash and with the famous medieval commentator- Rashi who is recommended, but only issue is that his commentary cites Talmud/Midrashim extensively to illustrate the point. So the poor Noachide is baffled because he is reading a commentary that he is recommended to read from it to better understand the Bible, but it quotes material . He is told he cannot even have a glance at, and at the same time has embraced a religion where it's an authoritative text . So from a logical standpoint does that even make sense banning a non Jew from said text after being talked out of conversion but he can read the scriptual text with material from that prohibited material to him in a religion where said prohibited material is authoritative. Does this make sense ?

Reform : Are not Reform voters a little concerned that quite a few elected councillors in the local elections have been suspended, resigned or dismissed ?

So whilst it's still at a local level. These local elections are supposed to give some snapshot of how Reform would run at a national level. With all these suspensions and resignations . Are not Reform supporters just a little concerned about the party's reputation at least at local level ?

Why do Israelis overestimate their knowledge of Biblical Hebrew ?

So whilst being a native speaker of Modern Hebrew does give one a natural advantage in Biblical Hebrew for obvious reasons. It does not mean that you know and understand the language of the Bible completely.

The average educated Israeli has a fair understanding of Biblical Hebrew and can understand narrative texts, stories, but of course more poetic stuff as איוב past the first two chapters and it's like Japanese to them. So why do they over estimate their Biblical Hebrew ability ?

What gatekeeping nonsensical arguments as converts did you have to endure from born Jews whilst seeking the path of conversion.

So unfortunately converts irrespective of race have to endure nonsensical gatekeeping arguments that try and sway them from conversion such as it's so hard to follow Torah u Mitzvot. You will be able to hack it. Remain a Noachide.

Of course that argument is nonsensical because it's like saying God pulled a sick joke on Jews and gave them a system and a group of laws that somehow they will never be able to fulfilled even collectively , and eternally dammed and similar to the Pauline idea that the Torah is a burden a course. So with all that nonsense the born Jew is cosigning the Christian, Pauline belief surrounding the Torah.

Reform: So the way how UK legislation works is that Bills must go through Parliament and through various stages/readings before becoming law. Even in a Reform Govt it would not speed up what they want. In light of this how would voting Reform effect rapid change ?

As said the passing of laws through bills goes through a lengthy process and period where bills have to drawn up and go through readings and scrutiny during Parliamentary sessions before gaining Royal Assent where the King has to give his final approve before being made law.

So taking this into consideration. How even so would an elected Reform govt to Reform voters be able to effect all these stuff what they want. Let's use for example the big one. Immigration which they want to leave the ECHR. In the chance of an elected Reform govt during Parliamentary sessions. A Reform MP or minister can propose a bill or amendment to a bill which would carry out their desired changes to Immigration, but still gotta go through various readings and stages and then the legal and humane aspect would have to be taken into consideration and under scrutiny, and then the King has to give royal assent and would the reigning monarch approve of it ? Because at the end due to how our legislation process works. The reigning monarch has the final say. So with all these factors and considerations how do Reform voters actually think that what they want will happen in 24 hours ?

Why are Reform voters so impatient to see any changes with the Labour Govt ?

They expect Starmer to literally turn water into wine and just magically conjure up rapid change. As when any significant change to the country will take a long time to materialise.

Do they think not that it won't be the same as Farage being in power or PM that changes are not going to magically happen the first day after Election day like the boats are not going to suddenly just disappear in Dover. As when Farage enters 10 Downing street ?

If Starmer is not regarded as good for the working class. Then how on God's green earth is Farage being pushed as the viable alternative and the working class hope ?

Similar to my previous thread

One critcism of Starmer is that he is not good for the working class and has directed Labour from being a party that is centered for the working class by being a more centrist party. However how in the dickens is Farage a viable alternative to Starmer in that respect as when he is so far removed from the working class. It makes no sense ?

Did any converts here get any pushback or negativity from born Jews because you appeared more knowledgeable than them in Jewish religious matters

Converts in all religions generally appear to be knowledgeable than those who were born into it. However did any Jewish converts face or experience any negativity surrounding being knowledgeable from born Jews which comes from a place of insecurity?

Why do Mormons try and recruit black people? Given the ugly history and beliefs surrounding black people such as black people being descended from Cain and thus cursed and black people as a result not being able to acquire Mormon priesthood ?

So I am black in the UK in an area that has a population with black people, and when I am walking from time to time there will be these fresh faced Mormon missionaries trying to recruit. Last Saturday one tried to "invite me to church " and I saw his colleague talking with another black men . Obviously they target everyone irrespective of race , but given their history with black people and their weird beliefs which would be regarded as racist. Why do they try and recruit black people ? Don't they think that a black potential convert may get offended by their beliefs surrounding black people?

Why do right wing working class people buy so much into the "man of the people " image surrounding Farage when he is anything but that ?

We all are now acquainted witb Farage's trademark look with him smiling with a guffaw and a pint in his hand to reinforce the image that he is a man of the people or the voice of the working class that will finally bring a solution to their issues. However Farage is anything but that and is more or less from the same middle class establishment as the majority of Westminster politicians. So why do working class folk buy so easily into this facade?

So some right wingers are anti vaxx and always spout out nonsensical conspiracy theories that the Govt is trying to depopulate the population through vaccination just because some people experience vaccine damage/injury, and claim that people who get vaccinated are sheeple.

But surely by listening and subscribing to antixvaxxers who are also right wing you are being also a sheep. As you won't listen to other views, and take everything what antixvaxxers say as Gospel with no further research.

The whole DEI concept which is an US imported idea which makes given the steamy relations that America has had with race, and the obsession that Americans have with race. However in a British context the idea does not translate well. Since we Brits have never really been obsessed with race. So given the context why do some white right wingers readily subscribe to the belief. Given the historical context ?
