Friends, speak to me about this species of DC mosquitoes.

Naturally, I’ve been basking in windows open weather and was not prepared for these lil demons to invade.

They are eating my kiddo alive and leaving massive red circles around the bite but then leaving red dots all over him after healing. I have been having almost hive like reaction to them. This is not our usual response.

Are they just brutal here? I never would have taken the city for a breeding ground for them!!

Just heard “You’ll Get By” from the upcoming EP and I swear to glob this man never disappoints. Makes me cry the cries I need to cry.

Hey everyone. I made a post a few weeks ago looking for an OB/GYN as I just moved here.

We had a healthcare exchange but once I reported my pregnancy it kicked me to total traditional Medicaid coverage. That meant I had to leave one office and start with another. I chose GW MFA and loved my provider. However I was just told they are down 13 providers and are booking out MONTHS and my dream doc is leaving too.

I need to find another provider ASAP. I do not like MedStar after a horrific experience in the ED and subsequent ICU care so I’m terrified to think about going to them.

Can someone help me with recommendations?

Can I use DC Medicaid at inova doctors and hospitals?

This did not happen to me but I have now seen two people report that uber drivers have added tips to their ride via these newly added passenger screens.

My last three cars have had this screen which just sits in the trip and tip screen. It DOES allow for a tip to be added from this tablet hanging from the passenger seat.

People are reporting drivers are tipping themselves after they exit the car.

Do any of y’all have weird reactions to onions? For as long as I can remember if I eat a sandwich with raw onion the corner of my mouth and or lip will swell. I don’t know that it’s EVERY time but it’s almost every time. And, it’s almost exclusively a sub type sandwich. I don’t eat a lot of bread or sandwiches so it’s noticeable when it happens.

Since when did Ticketmaster start requiring biometrics for ticket purchases? This is getting out of control. Feels like we need another class action lawsuit. They already repaired way too much personal information but making you take selfies for most events or uploading your ID is out of line for a ticket middle man.

I can’t find a lot of conversation online about the Hulu documentary “The Nightmare Upstairs” about Ty and Brynlee Larson who barricaded themselves for two months in their home to avoid a reunification program with their father. Or - any updates with actual updates.

I’m curious what other people think after watching this case in the short two episode preview we got on Hulu.

I just got my kiddo into Cava and frankly though it’s not top tier foodie foods it’s easy to eat with a broken arm and the garlic dressing is bomb. Plus it’s mid kid friendly.

Cava NW is closed for renovations until August. 🙄
