Why do men not fight against gender discrimination in tech?

As per coding ninja data, freshers men earn 7% less for the same work compared to men .

And the companies seems to want to force more and more DEI in tech. So why Arne't men fighting against it?

Quick thought : Life as a woman in west is so much easier

if I had the choice, I’d pick being born a woman in the West without even thinking twice.

Just looking back at my own life school, uni, random jobs, corporate; i found so obvious double standards. When women mess up, people are more forgiving. There’s more patience, more understanding. When men mess up, it’s more like “figure it out yourself.” Companies openly say they want more women. Getting a job as a woman is much much easier and a man has to probably become homeless. i have never seen a homeless woman where i live (berlin)

Social life is probably the most obvious difference. If a woman wants attention, validation, or just connection, it’s always there. Post a picture, go out, open a dating app, it’s easy. For most men, it’s the opposite. You get ignored unless you’ve already built status, money, or something impressive.

Dating and relationships are another big one. Men are still expected to provide, to lead, to have their life together. Women don’t have that same pressure. They have way more choice, and realistically, more safety nets. If things go wrong, they’re not starting from zero in the same way a man often is. Majority of women are chasing minority of men.

And then there are things people don’t like to mention. Men make up over 90% of workplace deaths. Suicide rates are much higher for men. Homelessness is mostly male. Even in the justice system, men tend to get harsher sentences for the same crimes.

Even stuff like migration or improving your living situation, women can often do that through relationships. I see it all the time where I live. A lot of women from developing countries come here find a nerdy man here and get settled. For man this is a fairytale.

So yeah, from where I’m standing, the system today kind of gives women the best of both worlds: modern advantages plus a level of social protection that never really went away from history.

Hard to look at that and say men have it easier. Don’t tell that women is less safe. Men are also attacked on streets and this argument that a woman is small and vulnerable does not hold in the current system.

Why do some women complain they are discriminated by comparing themselves with the top men ?

Why do they they never compare themselves with the average men and call themselves oppressed despite having so much benefits from diversity hiring to DEI policies to reservations.

Perspective All the popular/athletic guys are typically the most misogynistic.

Here's an unpopular hypothesis. It's not that. Popular/Athletic guy is misogynistic, therefore gets the girls. It's

Popular/Athletic guy get the girls, spends lots of time around them, and then become more sexist (not misogynistic), but yall can't tell the difference.

Can someone IT from a tier 2 college help ?

I'm a fresher and going to join a tier 2 college . So what stuff should I do to get placed in a good company despite the diversity hiring and all.

And how bad is diversity hiring in companies and will this get better once the ratio becomes nearly equal?

We are organizing a debate on "This House Believes India Would Be Better Off Without Religion."

It will be on Sunday and we are lacking some left members as we have 7 debaters against and only a 3 for the motion and I guess 10-12 audience .

So it would be good if we could have some educated people in this debate. This will be organized on google meet.

Pls ask questions in the comments.

Why isn't there DEI for men in medical or law field?

Like we have women only seats in IITs, NITs and many GFTIs and have women only internships and companies prefer women over men if both are equally talented.

Why isn't the same for fields were women are over represented ? Like medical or law colleges?

Do current women leave there partners cause of monetary issues?

I'm not asking women to marry poor guys but do they leave their husbands if he has fallen low after they married? Like as far as I have seen around me no one has divorced (even in the younger gen) but then I live in Delhi which is kinda more patriarchal than the south or the other big cities.

I just asked this cause I saw a real where one son was praising his mother for being with his father despite facing so many hardships (due to money not due to no love) and the women were attacking him .

Some women are more loyal than men to their nation

Some women are more loyal than men, it is just dependent on their upbringing. In India millions of women of the Khastriya clans(rajput, Jat and gurjar ) burnt themselves to protect their honor and killed themselves so their husband aren't distracted to sue for peace to protect them. The last this happened was in in 1947 where they happily preferred to die to protect their dignity .

Even in other countries like France or Russia, the woman leaders were the one who saved their countries at times of need from Catherine the great to Joan the Arc. Even now in countries like Israel and Gaza women are happily serving in the army/resistance to support and fight for their land.

While it should have been the men doing this as what kind of men let their women fight and die for their nation?

Why do some men act like simps and white knights?

What promotes some men to lie over and get fucked by women? And supporting women who hate men(not all women). Like why would they even want to attack their own gender and turn them into women slaves?

Like even here we have so many simps and white knights who do this , who post videos with a few thousand views , call men bad words and attack them all the time.

We should shut this sub and focus on our own lives

I can bet my whole inheritance that most men and women here are sad, dejected , NEET and wasting their time being here.

They should stop rage baiting here or being a white simp or misogynist or misandrist and focus on improving our own lives by getting a job or if you are married then spending more time with your husband/wife and children.

Community discussion :Heightism isn't rampant in the 3rd world.

I think that for countries like India, the Middle East or African countries being blue pilled is better than being dark or red pilled .

Like if u go on the streets here most women are married/dating men just a few inches taller than them and some are partnered with men same heeight or even an inch or two shorter than them.

And these aren't offy toffy relationships as most women here don't really earn or earn very less and would happily do the household work plus they are the one forcing their partners for pics, holding hand having romantic moments etc(atleast publicly).

Though this is probably not true among upper middle class or rich western style women but 90% of India isn't upper middle class or rich.

here most women would be happy if you treat her well, take care of her and love her a lot. This is shown in our divorce rates where women only divorce you if u abuse her or hurt her(and any times not even then).
