Outjerked to oblivion

Outjerked to oblivion
I’m a more modern AC lover, my top 3 are mirage, Valhalla (especially the Ragnarok dlc) and AC2 (love the Ezio trilogy since I was a kid)
I missed the entire era from AC3 to syndicate when I was in jail (I’m not a bad dude it was just a ton of tax stuff). So I’m very exited to play black flag, which is everybody’s favorite game from what I’ve heard
I started it like 3 weeks ago but decided to drop it around the 2h mark when I realized that the remake was releasing super soon. Preorder is ready and I’m very hyped
By the way, I ordered it 76 days ago, seems like they’re really playing with that 90 day “limit” (which will probably be surpassed anyways).
At the end of the Gna fight, Gna asks to die by Freyas hand. At first she was very conflicted about it, but when Gna made it imperative, she killed her.
This perfectly parallels how Freya’s whole storyline is about the choice between life and death- Freya even tells Gna “I wronged you, and I cannot chance that… never apologize enough for it”, directly paralleling her wronging of baldur.
I already made a freya appreciation post today, ig this is the sequel. Freya post: Ragnarok
Freya is by far the most morally understandable person in the God of War franchise.
-She saved Atreus’ life after his sickness even after Kratos insults her for being a god
-made a selfish mistake to keep her son invulnerable to prevent a needless death prophecy
-went on full revenge mode against Kratos until DROPPING IT when acknowledging that Odin was the real perpetrator
-forgave her brother Ygnvi/freyr even after he forgot her and assumed her dead
-created the shield maidens, freeing Valkyrie’s from bountiful Aesir vanir magic mix (saðr)
Promised the ability to add order on priority shipping after the 12 of June then acted like they never said that
When 2018 came out, we had speculations that it wasn’t Kratos who died in the end mural due to the skirts being different and him having no tattoo. And of course this was accurate
Although, the mural in ironwood shows the tattoo and a more clear distinction of him being kratos. We know that the shrine wasn’t altered by Aesir since it was in ironwood which is out of odins radar
Plus all the shrines were 100% accurate in the end of 2018, right before Kratos sees the death prophecy, Atreus says “they haven’t been wrong yet” (paraphrase). I can’t really see a world where the answer of this question is that “the giants made a mistake”.
My current theory is that Faye added the false flag on purpose to force Kratos to allow Atreus to be his own man.
I’m currently replaying gow2018 and seeing parts like “till gods grow good” being written in the walls of Tyrs sanctuary, this was also written in Jotunheim at the end
Plus the entire journey of the unity stone was specifically made to raise the Jotunheim tower, meaning that Tyr acknowledged that “someone” would be able to restore it and take his place.
These make me super sure that Tyr worked with Faye in the orchestration of weaving the threads of fate and walking kratos and Atreus down their paths
God of war Laufey was recently announced and Sony and Santa Monica have been non-stop marketing for it, even more than they did for Ragnarok. This is probably due to the expected distaste from braindead people that don’t want to play as a woman or a character other than Kratos.
Tangent aside, I can 100% foresee Santa Monica and Sony making a deal with Epic to add Faye to the game, since her entire existence is already controversial and could possibly lower sales.
And if they add Faye, there is a huge chance they’d add Kratos too, it would blow up the Fortnite item shop and lay a ton of eyes on Faye and the new God Of War game
“Every strand transcending time” - we know that time works weirdly in the Everywhen as when we saw Faye in an Asgard ruin in the 20m trailer of you pay attention to the soundings.
“Everything comes back to the tree”. Director of GOW Laufey said all magic originates and returns to the Everywhen
This could possibly allude to the idea that all mythologies and worlds sit on Yggdrasil. Atlas holding a separate root of Yggdrasil- kinda like Loki in the Loki show with all the strands
If the Everywhen/higher plane is the tip or main root of Yggdrasil, that makes it the most important place in the universe. Making it the deciding factor of fate, magic, creation, destruction, life, death, reincarnation etc
Im a Norse saga guy, I love the originals but I prefer the Norse games a bit more
Although, the blades of chaos/exile/athena were literally made for the original hack and slash playstyle. They were made with the intention to have a huge impact scope for the fixed camera and the enemies surrounding. The aerial combat is also a staple of the blades of chaos, the removal of it in the Norse saga also weakened its enjoyability
I’d say, for the Norse saga, the axe is the main attraction (obviously). It was made for the 1 on 1 combat style with the over-the-shoulder camera type. The blades on the other hand, feel super out of place and less fluid than the originals. They’re still fun as hell but not nearly as cool as the originals
This is why the remakes MUST be in a fixed camera from the top and MUST be extremely similar to the original games
DOOMs verse is literally half a sentence
One of my favorite parts of the original games, the way you float in the sky has such beautiful fluidity.
The Faye gameplay looks incredible and is a beautiful blend of the Greek and Norse combat, I’m genuinely super exited to juggle some troops again
Santa Monica bringing back his voice actor for Valhalla and having him in a mimir role feels like a test to see if the audience likes it.
I can imagine the GOW 3 remake having a speaking Helios and a companion pandora - but I sure as hell hope I’m wrong. Companionship and friendship should be left in the Norse saga, I genuinely can’t imagine kratos talking to a head constantly while he’s bloodthirsty and insane
Wdym you already heard this interpretation 50000 times? Are you stupid?
Eminem, the most washed rapper of the 21 century, is dissing Ye for being sexually assaulted/groomed by his cousin. Thats not even the bad part, him saying that his “shit sucks” is so funny, like nigga your music is buttcheeks and irrelevant
The only real controversial one imo is vaudville villain at S, but I can’t put it anywhere else, imo it’s his second best project ever.
Vv2 is very good but could be better, the potential was a high A but it didn’t reach it imo.
Czar meats metal face is quite a weak project with some decent songs, “ super what?”Is significantly better.
KTTK is borderline A, but I don’t think it’s as strong as any of the A tier albums in comparison.
