Image 1 — This is interesting. I did an image search for a copy of Alice in Wonderland that I have and discovered several other titles with the same cover art. Anybody have any idea when these were published? Was reusing cover art a common practice back then?

All incense smells the same when you burn it.

I don't know if it's just my nose or if anyone can validate this, but I think all incense smells the same when burning. You know how whenever you see incense at stores, there's a huge variety of scents? Well, when it's unlit, I can smell all the different scents but somehow they disappear when lit. Everybody I ask about it thinks I'm crazy.

When people visit your home and point out a really obvious flaw

My kitchen floor needs replaced. It's not very old but also isn't very good quality and I'm pretty annoyed about how many of the boards are peeling and crumbling. I'm getting around to fixing it. But jc I've lost count of how many people have come into my home and felt the need to say, "Oh, the floor is coming up right here," right in the middle of the floor I walk on every day. I KNOW. I fucking live here!

This has happened with other things to a lesser extent but this one about my floor is pretty persistent and so unnecessary.

People who cheer too loudly at graduations.

First of all, they specifically ask you hold your applause until everyone's name has been called. But we all know that nobody listens to that and honestly it doesn't bother me that people cheer a bit when their family's name is called. It is a celebration after all.

What I hate are the people who cheer and yell so loudly and so excessively that you can't hear the next person's name. These people scream at the top of their lungs, bang noise makers and have literal horns. It's completely unnecessary and disrespectful of all the graduates, so if you're one of people, fuck you.

People who don't put CDs or DVDs back in the correct cases.

I still collect and consume physical media and I love finding good deals at thrift stores and yard sales. But it drives me nuts when every other case I open is the wrong disc or missing the disc. I don't mean just one or two. Like, half the discs are missing or wrong. How do people expect to sell things like that?

A question for video game selctors

I select and buy the video games for my library and after so many years, I'm finding it difficult to find good physical titles. More and more games are only being released digitally. My question is this - what sources do you use to find good physical titles? I'm subscribed to a few newsletters and I use a few websites (primarily releases.com and gamesradar.com) that yield passable results. Give me some good resource recommendations, please!

These pieces came in a big bag of Barbie accessories I thrifted. The bottom says Mattel 1987. I was thinking maybe an elevator for a Barbie Dream House, but I'm getting nowhere with Google. The piece with the mirror is slightly larger than the rest and doesn't seem to fit in any of the slots. Any help is appreciated!
