I am considering buying an Intel Arc B580, which is currently priced between €320 and €350 where I live. At this price point, apart from entry-level cards, there is virtually nothing else—to get something like a 9060 XT (or 16GB equivalents), I would have to spend at least €470–€500, which is completely out of my budget.

My performance goal is clear: I want to play single-player games in Full HD at 60 FPS with maxed-out settings, and target 120 FPS in competitive games with competitive settings (such as Warzone, Apex Legends, and similar titles).

My current setup is:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600

Motherboard: B450M S2H (it supports Re-Size BAR, which I can enable)

PSU: MSI MAG A650BN

RAM: 16GB 3200 MT/s

I have a few doubts and would like to ask for advice on three key points:

PCIe Compatibility: I know the B580 uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface. My B450M S2H motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0. Since the card will downgrade to PCIe 3.0 x8, will I lose too much performance with my Ryzen 5600 to hit my Full HD targets?

Re-Size BAR: My motherboard has the BIOS update for ReBAR (and I will enable it), are there any specific early-adopter issues or limitations with B450 motherboards using this GPU?

Issues with older games: When I hear about issues with older games on Intel GPUs, I'd like to understand which titles or categories cause the most trouble. I'm not interested in VR or emulators: among the older games I regularly play are Assetto Corsa, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and every now and then I consider replaying some older Assassin's Creed titles and similar genre games. With games like these, does the B580 suffer from severe performance drops or stuttering, or do they run well? What exact games does it struggle with?

Do you think it can meet my requirements? Thanks a lot in advance for your opinions!

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a pair of everyday sneakers for year-round wear and I'm stuck between two options I found on sale. The Asics GEL-1130 are 60 euro and the Asics GT-2160 are 85 euro. I like the look of both models. My main concern is comfort and durability, so for daily use involving long walks and staying on my feet for hours, is the price difference worth it for the GT-2160, or are the 1130s already comfortable and supportive enough for everyday wear? Hi everyone! I found a great deal (70 euros) on some 1906R 'PrimaLoft' versions (I absolutely love their aesthetic). My only concern is the breathability: does anyone here own them? Are they actually too heavy/hot to wear during summer days, or does the insulation not make that much of a difference? Should I perhaps go for the Asics GEL-NYC instead at 75 euros? I’m planning to upgrade my old RX 570 8GB to a new Intel Arc B580. I’m a bit concerned about my current Power Supply and I would like your expert opinion.

My Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 (Stock cooler)

GPU: Intel Arc B580 (planning to buy)

PSU: Enermax MAXPRO II 500W (EMP500AGT-C) - 80 PLUS 230V EU

Technical details of my PSU:

It’s a 500W unit with a single +12V rail rated at 38A, providing 456W on the main rail. It has two 6+2 pin PCIe connectors on a single cable.

My doubts:

Intel recommends a 600W PSU for the B580, but my total system draw should be around 350-370W. Is the 456W on the +12V rail enough to handle the spikes?

I’ve heard the B580 software readings show ~120W, but the actual TBP is closer to 190W.

Is it safe to run this card on a 500W "entry-level" PSU considering I also have 3 drives and 4 fans?
